主人要留意

1)催淚彈會引致你的寵物出現呼吸不順、雙眼及鼻孔呼吸氣道受刺激不適。

2) 催淚彈可以引起你的寵物哮喘,如果你寵物本身有阻塞性呼吸氣道疾病,催淚彈可以令病情惡化,甚至帶來生命威脅
3)若果呼吸氣道阻塞的情況嚴重,可能會對寵物帶來致命威脅,尤其如果病人(即你的寵物)已有一段時間難以呼吸而且沒有適合的治理。

4)若上述情況,請立即帶你的寵物到就近的診所求醫。

5)若寵物遇催淚彈,請立即把寵物由戶外帶到戶內沒有受催淚彈攻擊的地方,請確保戶內的地方溫度涼爽以及空氣不混濁。(驚夏天中暑）若果寵物呼吸順暢、沒有困難,主人可以用已消毒生理鹽水温柔地沖洗寵物眼睛,把眼睛內的化學品洗走。但要注意沖洗時要把動物的頭傾側到一邊,以防染有化學品的污水滴到寵物的身體或四肢,因為催淚彈的化學品也可造成皮膚刺激。

6)可以用已消毒生理鹽水或者蒸餾水沖洗。

1) Tear gas can cause respiratory distress, irritating the eyes, nasal passage and airways of your pets

2) Tear gas can trigger asthma or worsen condition of pets with obstructive airway disease; could be life-threatening for them.

3) if airway obstruction is severe, it can lead to life threatening situation, especially when patient is short of breath for certain period of time and not being treated promptly.

4) please take your pet to the closest vet clinic where proper treatment with 100% oxygen and bronchodilators are available.

5) try to move the patient from outdoor to indoor where tear gas cannot reach to. Please ensure indoor environment is cool and not stuffy (big concern for heat stroke in summer). If patient is breathing fine, owner can use sterile saline to GENTLY flush the chemicals out of the eyes with patients on lateral recumbency so that the rinsed saline don’t drip on the body or limbs which can potentially cause chemical irritation on the skin.

5) sterile saline or even distilled water would be good.
