Eli, one of our younger volunteers, not only helps out at the shelter, but also wanted to help us financially. He saved up his pocket money for five weeks, so he could donate it to us.

It's wonderful to see young people take the initiative not only to volunteer their time, but also to donate their own money, which will go to the care and upkeep of all our animals. A heartfelt thank you Eli for your time and donation.

One of our adoption families let us know that their beloved dog Katie, passed away in her sleep this morning. She was over 18 years old and had been with the family for over 12 years. Adopting a dog is a lifelong commitment and it's wonderful to see that Katie's family cared for her so much to such a ripe old age. RIP Katie.
