🐾 您的寵物出現了後腿跛行的情況？原來後腿跛行其中一個常見原因可能是十字韌帶斷裂。
十字韌帶是膝關節內的重要韌帶，隨著狗狗年齡的增長，韌帶會開始退化，就像一根磨損的繩子一樣，輕微創傷就可能導致斷裂。
🩺 治療十字韌帶斷裂，其中一種手術選擇是TTA（脛骨結節前移手術）。這種手術會切割脛骨前部，並將其移動到新位置，用板固定，旨在使關節關節變得穩定。
🏥 TTA手術後24小時，在寵物可以重新開始使用後腿前，會用繃帶包紥以減輕腫脹。

🐾 Is your furry friend experiencing lameness in their back leg? One common cause could be a rupture of the cruciate ligament.
This important ligament inside the knee joint can undergo degenerative changes as your dog ages, making it susceptible to rupture even with minor trauma.
🩺 When it comes to treating cruciate ruptures, one effective surgical option is the TTA (tibial tuberosity advancement).
This procedure modifies the joint’s geometry to eliminate the need for the cruciate ligament, aiming to align the patella tendon at a right angle to the tibial plateau.
🏥 After a TTA surgery, a bandage will be applied for 24 hours to reduce swelling before your dog can start using their leg again.

大多數骨折是由創傷引起，例如被車撞或從高處跌落。症狀包括突然跛行、極度疼痛和骨折部位腫脹。到診所後，我們會首先穩定您的寵物並盡快止痛，然後進行X光檢查評估骨折情況。
治療方式可以有：包紥固定或使用專用金屬骨釘、骨板、連接桿或骨針進行手術。手術後，您的寵物需要在醫院住2-3天，然後在家中限制運動，直到骨頭在6-8周內癒合。🏥🐶🐱
🐾 Dealing with a pet emergency? Dr Hannah tells you what you need to know about fractures!
Most fractures are caused by trauma like being hit by a car or falling from height. Symptoms include sudden lameness, extreme pain, and swelling at the fracture site. Once your pet arrive VEC, we will stabilise your pet and providing pain relief before assessing the fracture with x-rays.
Treatment options include splinting, surgery with metal pins or plates. After surgery, your pet will stay in the hospital for 2-3 days and then require restricted rest at home while the bone heals over 6-8 weeks. 🏥🐶🐱
