As we are nearing autumn all our nature lovers may have noticed that snake activity is once again on the rise with them preparing for winter.🍂
Walking our dogs leashed and keeping our backyards free of plant debris may limit bites, however:
🐶🐱In the case of a snakebite
1. Stay calm
2. Try to Identify the snake : take a picture📸
3. Call for help - contact emergency services or someone you know. Alert our clinic that you are on your way at 2323 2933. If it is After hours, 24 hr hospitals throughout Hong Kong can be contacted☎️
4. Limit movement: Keep the patient quiet and immobilized as far as possible.
5. Do not apply a tourniquet.❌
6. Visit a clinic carrying antivenom as soon as possible‼️

隨著秋天的臨近，我們所有的大自然愛好者可能都注意到蛇的活動再次增加，牠們正在為冬天做準備。🍂
然而，遛狗時拴好狗繩並保持後院沒有植物殘骸可能會減少咬傷：
🐶🐱被蛇咬傷時
1.保持冷靜
2. 嘗試辨識蛇的種類：拍張照片📸
3. 致電尋求協助 - 聯絡緊急服務部門或有提供抗蛇毒血清的診所。請致電 2323 2933 通知我們的診所您正在路上。☎️
4. 限制活動：盡可能讓寵物保持冷靜並不要大動作移動。
5. 請勿使用止血帶❌
6. 盡快前往攜帶抗蛇毒血清的診所‼️
