Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation A shelter in Sai Kung providing more than 𝘢 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 to over 200 dogs whilst they wait for adoption. One of them could be perfect for you.

Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation (SKSFF) is a Hong Kong Charity, which was founded in 2014 by Narelle Pamuk. A non-profit organisation that is supported by a group of volunteers and relies heavily on donations from the public and the local community. SKSFF rescue stray, abandoned, sick and injured dogs to provide them with medical care and rehabilitation. Every dog that is rescued is health check

ed, de-sexed, vaccinated and given flea, tick and heartworm prevention. We also try to provide any necessary treatment and emergency surgery that may be needed. Our aim is to find these beautiful dogs, a kind and responsible adopter which can give them a loving forever home and help them have a better life. If you haven't experienced the joy of adopting a dog, now is the right time! We currently have approx 200 dogs at our Sai Kung kennel, they are all waiting for their forever homes. Outside of our kennel, our meals-on-wheels program delivers food and clean water to street dogs 365 days a year. We have a small group of volunteers who personally deliver food and water to the street dogs and make sure they have shelter and warmth. We also desex, microchip and rabies vaccinate the dogs, who live happily in harmony with the local villages. Please help us improve the lives of dogs:

Urgent Message...
Por Por Chan is old and it has been arranged for her to move into Public Housing due to the new development area in Hung Shui Kiu.

A social worker whose job it is to help
residents move out has been trying to
find a home for Por Por Chan's 2 young dogs.

Black dog and White dog are 2.5 yrs old brothers. They have gentle temperaments, love to play, and are very affectionate towards people. The two brothers share a close bond and are often seen keeping each other company.

There has not been any solution to finding homes for the brothers and
tomorrow is the deadline.
The panic is with no other option they will need to be taken to AFCD (face euthanasia) unless a willing adopter or urgent foster can help.

Por Por has no family and has lived in the tin house in the picture.

The dogs will need vaccinations
SKSFF will sponsor if anyone can adopt trial or foster.

BIRTHDAY GIFT😀🐕🐕🐕🐕
Yesterday was the birthday of
long time supporter Khazan and together with his daughter Keenu they brought two big boxes of fresh vegetables broccoli, potatoes & carrotts to add to the dogs cooked chicken meals.

Our staff/volunteers also received freshly cooked warm Samosas.

QUICK HELP FOR FERN ❤️- $35,150

On Friday 10th Oct beautiful girl Fern is scheduled to undergo cruciate surgery.
The medical quotation is $35,150😖

Fern is the most happiest natured girl, playful and loves interacting with dog friends and even cats!

Her leg has been causing her discomfort and xrays showed she needs corrective surgery.

Initially It was thought her intermitted limp was just from play but when Fern retreated to long resting she was taken to the clinic.

SKSFF never denies a dog medical treatment but expenses are always so high every month...a real struggle for us.

Can you please help us raise Fern's surgery expenses. Fern is young and has a life ahead which can be painfree with medical treatment.

REHOME - BEAN (Male) 5 years🙏🏼
A SKSFF volunteer Roger adopted Bean as a puppy from our Shelter and is absolutely distraught and reached out for our help to find his Bean a new home.

"This is a really painful message for me to write to you as Bean is very well loved by us, but due to financial circumstances my Dad is planning on downsizing our home and due to his new working hours + terminating contract with our helper he won't be able to provide the adequate care Bean needs and deserves as an active dog.

I would take over the duties but I am at University in UK studying full time to be a vet - I am on rotations now which means im basically working full time 5 days a week for most of the year and housing does not allow dogs 😢and i don’t graduate for another 2 years.

I am really sorry to be reconnecting with you under these circumstances.

Bean is a sweet 5 year old cream-coloured Mongrel dog who was since being adopted has been a valued part of the family.

He is an energetic dog - loves going on walks and hikes (though is strong and pulls on leash at times).
Slightly anxious around new people and dogs but can get comfortable but sociable in the neighbourhood with other dogs. He loves watching the birds goes by in the window as well as on walks. He also loves his toys and playing. He could play fetch all day long.

He is so well loved by everyone in the family and it brings us so much sadness to have to rehome him and we really hope he goes to a good home that can take care and give him as much love as we did.
He always welcomes us back home with a big smile and brings his toys to share with us to play. Extremely food motivated and will do anything and everything.

"This dog was reported wandering for days in Ho Chung, Tai Lam Wu and rescued in Fei Ngo Shan Saturday 13th Sept.
He was advertised on social media but no one claimed him.
Rumours from dog walkers on Fei Ngo Shan area were Dak was abandoned due to owner relocating"

Following our post I received a message from a kind couple very happy to provide a home and best care to Dak.

They met Dax at Village Vets clinic accompanied him during consult and sponsored his desex, vaccinations, teeth cleaning and preventative care. Dax went to their home from the clinic.

Dex’s is super gentle doing very good and gets along well with his new brother
He’s a lovely boy with good temper and character and always ask for huggings.
He is loved and just warms the hearts of our family.

The difference in people... one absolutely heartless human who abandonds and one with a kind heart.

Will bring two very lovely young brothers Tommy & Keenoo now 4 months old, totally socialised and toilet trained.
They have been staying in a foster home with two other dogs and cats.

Our volunteers will make the effort hoping it wont rain to showcase these beautiful boys. Vaccinated and totally healthy!

This young boy is a darling and so loving. He has just been on thypoon foster honestay.

Bio from host family:-

Puppy Tommy is such a sweet dog, so calm and gentle with my 3 kids. He’s a quick learner and I’ve been potty training him as well as socialising him and he’s very quick to understand and adjust.

We are so gutted, we have bonded with him but the reason we can’t keep him is because both my husband and I work quite long / irregular hours plus frequent travel.

RIP 02/10/2025
This darling dainty little girl was rescued on HK China Border May, 2022.
She had a deformed front leg which developed a mass on her foot. Masses continued forming higher up her
leg and bursting. Eco had surgeries but sadly it was aggressive cancer.
A large mass kept spreading down her whole leg. Very sad🥲but thankfully she was in our care not alone on the
Border somewhere.

Volunteer Irene took her out for her last nature walk which she enjoyed.
Eco passed away during the evening.

Eco was loved❤️

Any kindness donations towards Eco's medical & funeral expenses will be so
appreciated.
