A shelter in Sai Kung providing more than 𝘢 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 to over 200 dogs whilst they wait for adoption. One of them could be perfect for you.

Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation (SKSFF) is a Hong Kong Charity, which was founded in 2014 by Narelle Pamuk. A non-profit organisation that is supported by a group of volunteers and relies heavily on donations from the public and the local community. SKSFF rescue stray, abandoned, sick and injured dogs to provide them with medical care and rehabilitation. Every dog that is rescued is health check

ed, de-sexed, vaccinated and given flea, tick and heartworm prevention. We also try to provide any necessary treatment and emergency surgery that may be needed. Our aim is to find these beautiful dogs, a kind and responsible adopter which can give them a loving forever home and help them have a better life. If you haven't experienced the joy of adopting a dog, now is the right time! We currently have approx 200 dogs at our Sai Kung kennel, they are all waiting for their forever homes. Outside of our kennel, our meals-on-wheels program delivers food and clean water to street dogs 365 days a year. We have a small group of volunteers who personally deliver food and water to the street dogs and make sure they have shelter and warmth. We also desex, microchip and rabies vaccinate the dogs, who live happily in harmony with the local villages. Please help us improve the lives of dogs:

✨ ADOPTION DAY TOMORROW: 12-4PM ✨

Thanks to everyone who stopped by today, and to our fosters for hosting our dogs for the night. Cora, Yannie, Georgia and Nobu will be back at Delaney’s tomorrow, from 12pm until 4pm. They are still hoping for a Christmas miracle, longing to find their forever home!

Cora and Yannie are siblings who are 2 years old. Georgia is a sweet 1 year old girl, the daughter of Cher. All rescued from the China border. They love pets, cuddles, and kisses! Great with kids and love other dogs too. Come and meet them tomorrow!

Hi! I'm Nobu, a 6 month old male puppy. I'm a mixed breed, and my beautiful golden coat likely comes from Golden Retriever genes.

My personality:
🐶 Very affectionate — I love cuddles and follow my trusted person everywhere
🐶 Playful with humans and always ready to play with other dogs
🐶 Great with cats — I don't even react when they're not so friendly to me

CHRISTMAS BLESSING🧑🏼‍🎄
Late afternoon yesterday Tuesday 23rd Dec was my last rescue for 2025

My consious feels morally unburdened as I fly out of Hong Kong today on Cathay Pacific for family reunion Xmas in Australia.

This very sad case of a neglected senior female Por Por (the affectionate name I have given her) whose life was at risk every day as she would wobble herself crossing a busy road and curl up to sleep on the roadside junction with constant trucks passing.
Her coat was very weather beaten and matted. I do think she is deaf and must have bad teeth as she eats so slowly.

I kept saying to myself am I really being a good samaritan taking her to the shelter away from the only life she has known...she has survived 11 years.

I have been so busy trapping in the area and most days taking the starving stray dogs a chicken meal.. I was saying to myself "no time" she probably will be OK until I return.

The feeling of guilt persisted to torment me for taking this attitude should anything happened to her whilst Im away I would beat myself up.

I need to take a break not feeling worried about unfinished business!

I went back for Por Por ...
caged her and driving from New Territories Kwu Tong to Sai Kung her odour was so unpleasant, all car windows down but oh boy she was stinky!

Back at shelter I gave her a warm shampoo bathing, towel dried and put her in a clean room with a bed and blanket.
She was sleeping on the concrete floor but she will quickly get to like comfort she has never known.

Coming days Por Por will go for a vet visit for medical check, blood test, vaccinations and a Librella injection for her mobility.

Por Por is now safe and going forward will know love at our shelter❤️
I can now feel at peace with myself.

+ WE NEED FOSTERS FOR 1 NIGHT PLEASE‼️

Join us this Friday 26th and Saturday 27th for our adoption day and charity sale from 12pm until 6pm at Delaney’s in Cyberport.

We are also looking for fosters in Pokfulam, Stanley or around Hong Kong Island. This will reduce the long drive from our shelter in Sai Kung to Pokfulam every day for the adoption event.

Plan of action:
🌟 Fosters to collect the dog on Friday evening between 5:30-6pm from outside Delaney’s
🌟 Foster to drop off the dog on Saturday at 12pm noon, outside Delaney’s
🌟 Fosters are welcome to host the dogs for more days during this holiday season

Hi Narelle. Jess now lives in Ireland with our other rescue. We have relocated this week. She’s come a long way from where you rescued her!

Jess background story...
Her life before rescue 2020 was chained to a wreck of a car body at a junk car in New Territories. No one cared about her.

Jess had one puppy by her side.
We named her Amber. She was adopted and now lives in UK.

Its so beautiful to receive pictures and communication from adopters sharing with us the happiness and love of our rescued Stray Friends.

XMAS HOMESTAY - NOBU🌲
He will have his Christmas present like the other doggy’s too!

This very sweet young boy pup
went into a homestay yesterday to have his first time ever in a home.

Foster says:
My dogs and Nobu are getting to know each other step by step. He is a bit scared but doing much better.
He'll be fine by tomorrow evening

He is a winner so adoptable 🙂 such a cute little Nobu.. 🙂

Meet-ups with potential adopters can be arranged. Foster lives Sai Kung.

We have very well behaved socialised dogs in the shelter available for homestay.
