Spot Deserves a Loving Home
Meet Spot, a gentle soul in desperate need of a forever family. This brave little puppy has already endured more than his share of hardship. With two broken front legs in his past, Spot has shown incredible resilience.
Unfortunately, Spot's current environment isn't ideal. He's a peace-loving pup who prefers cuddles to conflict, but he's being bullied by other dogs. Through no fault of his own, he finds himself looking for a new beginning.
Can you be Spot's hero? He'll offer unwavering loyalty and endless love. Imagine the joy of giving this deserving pup a chance at the happy life he so richly deserves.

⚠️ LOST CAT ⚠️
7mo old, neutered tabby/white kitten named ASH, missing since Tuesday evening, 11/5, from the Buena Vista/Turtle Beach area. He is already large for his age, so look for a "cat". He is much loved and missed by his people😢🙏🏼

He is young so may have lost his way in the direction of West Bay or West End. Food and attention driven, though he may be wary of strangers. He has never stayed out past meal times.

⚠️$200 reward if found⚠️

If you see him please call or WhatsApp +504 9497-5435

ROAR is the go-to animal rescue for pet owners with sick or injured pets. We handle emergency cases every day, and these often involve high costs that rapidly deplete our funds.

Toby, a beloved pet, was recently attacked by a neighbor’s dog. A volunteer had previously assisted the family with preventive care to keep their pets safe, but now they are devastated by Toby’s injuries. His surgery will cost between $800-$900.

When ROAR was founded, our mission was clear: spay and neuter, vaccinate, and educate. These are goals we are still committed to. However, the reality is that due to the thousands of dollars we spend each month on emergency care—broken bones, anemic dogs, cancer treatments—reaching our spay and neuter goals has become increasingly difficult.

- **How do we say NO to a dog hit by a car, suffering in pain?**
- **How do we say NO to a pet owner who wants to sterilize their pet to prevent unwanted litters?**
- **How do we say NO to a new pet owner who wants to protect their animal from the deadly diseases we constantly treat?**

We can’t say no. But we need your help to continue saying YES. To continue our work, we must raise funds. We rely on donations and regular fundraisers to keep going.

Our volunteers dedicate so much of their time and energy to caring for these animals, and we can only do this important work with your support.

Help us continue our mission for a healthier, less crowded Roatan. Together, we can make a difference!
Thank you
TEAM ROAR

Meet Belle, a resilient dog discovered in a vulnerable state on the streets. Despite facing neglect from her previous owners, a compassionate ROAR volunteer welcomed Belle into their home. Upon realizing Belle's deafness, they taught her sign language, which led to her impressive progress. Belle has successfully learned commands such as "come," "ok," "I love you," and even "no." Even though she cannot hear, Belle expresses her affection through her actions. She delights in playing games like fetch and tug of war, gets along well with other dogs, but approaches cats cautiously. Belle behaves excellently during walks, responds eagerly to treats, and craves human affection. If you are seeking a loving companion, Belle would be overjoyed to become part of a caring home with you.

Meet Miles! He’s about to turn 2 years old this month. We began working with his owner back in January 2022, when Miles was just over 3 months old. His owner reached out with concerns about whether Miles had been properly vaccinated before he was adopted, and, as it turned out, he hadn’t. So, we stepped in and helped get his vaccinations up to date.

Sadly, in February 2022, Miles contracted Parvovirus—a reminder of how important those vaccines are, especially in an area like Roatan, where these diseases are common. Thankfully, Miles made a full recovery and had been thriving since then.

**PUPDATE** Miles has had surgery!! Pic added in comments.
PLEASE DONT FORGET TO MAKE A SMALL DONATION TO HELP US COVER THE HIGH COST OF SURGERY!!
THANK YOU!!

However, last Friday, an unfortunate accident occurred. A door was accidentally left open, and Miles ran out after a family member, only to be struck by a motorcycle. The impact broke his front leg, and he now needs surgery to repair it.

Miles is currently at the clinic, awaiting surgery, and we’ve been quoted between $1,000 and $1,200 to cover the cost of hospitalization, medication, and surgery.

Once again, we’re reaching out for help to cover these unexpected medical expenses. Any support would be greatly appreciated as we work to get Miles back on his feet!
