Another ROAR challenge. This pup, "Luna" was saved a year ago from Parvo, and now is sick again. We will try and get her healthy, and get her spayed, and then hopefully a new home. Her current home has many dogs and feeding them is difficult, and this pup is a bit isolated from the rest. So if you are interested in this sweet Pit Mix female, let us know and we will keep you posted on her progress!!!
She will be provided food from Roatan Pets and vet visits.

Exciting News for the East End! 🐾💙

We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the collaboration between our amazing local vet and a colleague—along with a talented team of veterinarians and support staff visiting from the US—ROAR will be hosting a one-day spay and neuter clinic right here on the East End! Even more exciting, it will take place at the same location where this group held a successful clinic last year, hosted by RTR.

This is such a blessing for us. Many of you will remember the veterinary brigades (HPAB, Brewer) that used to come every year—performing an incredible 500–600 surgeries during their visits. Sadly, they haven’t been able to come to Roatan in recent years.

As you all know, spay and neuter is ROAR’s #1 mission, but with daily emergencies and limited funds, we simply haven’t been able to do as many surgeries as needed. This clinic changes that—but here’s the catch: we need to provide the supplies for the vets.

We’re aiming to raise $2,500 to cover the cost of supplies. Our goal is 80 sterilizations in just one day—at only about $25 per surgery, this is a huge savings for us and will make a real dent in our long waiting list.

LONG TERM FOSTER/FOREVER HOME NEEDED!
Meet Garfield 🧡

This is a super snuggly, affectionate, and special little guy who’s almost a year old and ready for his forever home!

This handsome boy is Feline Leukemia positive, which means he NEEDS to be an INDOOR-ONLY pet and the only cat in the home (or live with other FeLV+ cats). Aside from this, Garfield is perfectly healthy, neutered, and litter-box trained.

Garfield was abandoned as a tiny kitten at Clinic Esperanza, but he hasn’t let that slow him down. With the love of his foster family, he has overcome early health challenges and blossomed into a playful, loving, and joyful companion. His foster family will soon be leaving the island, so Garfield is hoping to find his forever family soon.

He comes with his own box of toys, a big heart full of love, and a delightful personality that will brighten your home every day.

If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and snuggly friend, Garfield is waiting for you! 🐾
