I get a lot of messages from good people looking for a little buddy’s rescue in West Virginia.
We are not that rescue.

If you know anyone looking for an adventurous, loving sidekick, please share Little Buddy’s Rescue post. Germany, Croatia …
I want him to go to a good home with dog lovers that will give him the time and love that he deserves.
Buddy’s 2.5 years old, neutered, vaxxed and has a passport.
He loves adventures, cuddles…does not love cats. He’s a good boy and would do well with a human who will be patient an offer him guidance, he’s extremely smart.

Located in Makarska, Croatia.

Help me find this boy a home!
8 months old, neutered.
Missing an eye but it’s ok. It makes it a little harder for him to defend himself on the streets. He is from Baška Voda. He’s very comfortable and feeling safe in a home. He’s been in the back room and doesn’t want to leave the house much. He would be happy to be an indoor cat. He uses the litter box and loves food.
If I can’t find him a home, I will have to return him to the streets.

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I would love to continue running this rescue but I'm not in a position to do this at the moment. Don't worry...I will not stop forever. There are so many animals that need help.
I'm in Croatia with my two little dogs, Candy and Elvis. Lola, Lucy and Buddy have been in Greece with my ex-husband since the end of June.
I still haven't found a place to live so I am living between a few places, (with family) I am able to bring the little dogs in a room with me but I wouldn't be able to do this with my big dogs. I thought I would have found a house to rent by now but it's so difficult..people don't rent long term here.
I need to get Lola, Lucy and Buddy from Greece..my ex is asking me to come get them in March. You can read more of my story from the photo post of me holding my passport.
I thought I would be in a better position by now.
If you see an animal that needs help, please help it.

Πριν φύγουν από τη ζωή οι άνθρωποι γράφουν τη διαθήκη τους. Αφήνουν το σπίτι τους και όλα τα υπάρχοντα στους δικούς τους που μένουν πίσω.

Οι σκύλοι, αν μπορούσαν, με τις πατούσες τους γράψουν, θα ζητούσαν τα εξής:

Σε ένα καημένο και μοναχικό αδέσποτο αφήνω το χαρούμενο σπίτι μου. Το μπολ μου, το μαλακό κρεβάτι μου και όλα τα παιχνίδια μου.
Αφήνω την την αγκαλιά, που αγάπησα πολύ, το χέρι που χαϊδευε τη γούνα μου, την ήρεμη φωνή που καλούσε το όνομα μου.

Αφήνω στο λυπημένο, φοβισμένο σκυλάκο στο καταφύγιο ή την πανσιόν τη θέση που είχα στην καρδιά του ανθρώπου μου, καρδιά που αγαπούσε δίχως όρια.

Οπότε όταν φύγω, σε παρακαλώ μην πεις "δεν θα πάρω ξανά σκύλο γιατί δεν αντέχω τον πόνο της απώλειας".

Αντιθέτως, πήγαινε βρες ένα σκύλο που δεν έχει νοιώσει αγάπη, έναν ανεπιθύμητο σκύλο, ένα σκύλο που η ζωή του δεν έχει χαρά ή ελπίδα και δώστου τη θέση μου.

Αυτό είναι το μόνο που μπορώ να δώσω... Την αγάπη που άφησα πίσω.

It is with a very heavy heart I have to say: I’m closing my doors to taking in any more kittens this year. I’ve said it a lot but this is official! I can’t cope. My vet bill is nearly €5000 again. This year I’ve given them over €20,000 already -- probably more to be honest, I dread to count -- and I haven’t got a penny to my name to eat or feed anyone. I’m at the point of no return. If I keep going we will have to close the sanctuary forever, and I don't want that option!

People here who have no animals and have a job call me to help street cats and dogs, but they can’t offer any donations or foster care or they just dump them at my house. I am still getting established! It’s very hard to get funds when you have hundreds of animals all needing veterinary treatment.

So I’m asking politely to the residents of Lefkada and the people coming here on holiday, please stop sending me photos of sick cats. Please stop sending me photos of poor babies needing shelter and home, because it haunts me! I cannot help them right now! I cannot even feed myself. I’m not sleeping as I have 1000 kittens in my bed. Do what you can to save them yourself until I’m more organized and I have resources to help them.

If you need advice on how to care for cats, kittens or anything, you’re welcome to message me, but please do not send me photos as I find it very hard to say no once they’re imprinted in my brain. And I will be driving myself into an early grave!

I'm sorry I have to post this message but I’ve learned I’m not strong enough to say no. I beg you to stop calling me and stop bringing animals to my house for the rest of the summer until I’ve got these kittens to their new homes and paid off my big vet bill!

Honey is living her best life! Graduating from doggie school and so happy. She was so sad and heartbroken when I found her in Greece with her broken leg and now that’s a distant memory. Rescuing truly saves lives. Thanks 🙏🏼 so much to her Mom for giving her the life she deserves ❤️❤️❤️

Η καμπάνια έχει γίνει γνωστή και στέλνετε σε αεροπορικές ώστε να αλλάξει η νομοθεσία για τη μεταφορά ζώων στο αεροπλάνο.

ADOPTED!! Honey
I took Honey to her furever home yesterday. She settled in nicely. We spent the day there and after the park, Honey jumped in her new mom’s car and went to her new house. We started at her house so she would know it’s a safe place when she returned later last night. I didn’t want her to feel abandoned so we planned the “drop off” to be a whole day event. 💕❤️💜💞🐶🐾

Buddy has been doing amazing with his training! We walked passed two dogs and no reaction..all he wanted to do was play. I asked him to sit while I went in the store and he stayed and watched me. (I put his leash on a pole but he slipped off of it. He came to sit out the store for me. 😂) yay my little Buddy!!!
