My name is Schmidt Juergen and since more than 30 years I am working with reptiles at my breeding facility in Austria. Currently I am specialized in West Indian Iguanas, Fiji Iguanas, Antillean Iguanas, Giant Chuckwallas, Spinytail-iguanas and mastigures. This is an unusual breeding group of Fiji created iguanas, Brachylophus vitiensis.
2 males and 3 females together since 4 years. The males are brothers and were rised together.
Till now they never show any aggressiveness! Both are only threaten together the males in the other cages.

Both are fine and happy again together, after their fight.

WARNING, this video is not for the faint of heart!!
When I came back home I saw my red head rhino’s fighting. This sometimes happens during breeding season, when the male tries to breed and the female is not ready.
It looks like a very serious injury, but there are only a few scratches, nothing dangerous for them and will heal in some days.
When they settled down i cleaned /washed them and everything was fine! See pics in comments.
