Tornjak Archie is our first "knight from the mountains," and tornjaks are and will remain our love "at first glance". Everything what started with this breed is purely accidental. As a little girl I loved animals and grew up with a lot of them. I am most fond of cats and dogs, and I dreamed that once when I grow up I'm going to have a dog like a St. When got the conditions for a dog, I realized t

hat the breed could be tornjak because he was is at least similar to St.Bernard. I read about all its characteristics and I started to like them more. Soon,in our house came the first of tornjak called "Maza". Her graceful and clever behavior won us at first glance. All the dogs were beautiful, but one was a little bit more than others. We called him Archie and he is our first "knight from the mountains." We started with dog shows, bought a first female tornjak named "Beti", so today tornjak´s became part of our lives as we do theirs.
