Who says dogs don't feel concern? This big fella was watching his lil' friend that was on the side road. I whistled to get his attention and snapped the picture but he immediately returned to watch out for his lil friend. I wish all drivers are aware that these innocent life matter and should always practice caution when an animal was present. Too many sad road kill here in Bali 😞

Kimmy has joined the TBH family for 2 months now and she's thriving, she loves her little human aka my housekeeper's daughter and she's getting confident every day to play with the bigger furkids.
It's unthinkable when to think that in her old place before she was rescued, she was under threat to be rid off when she's this sweet. Ah well,, their loss obviously, I get to love her ☺️❤️🐶

Little is excited as we're only $650usd short to our total of $3,454usd for the last payment towards our 4yrs land rent. She survived in the woods by herself for almost 4yrs after she was abandoned in a young age. She never really fit in with my street pack so there were times when I had to go uphill in the woods just to feed her. Thankfully she had a human before so it didn't take long for her to trust me and eventually when her life became threatened, she allowed me to take her out. It's been almost 3yrs now she's with me so this is her . My only hope is for her and all my can enjoy our safe haven at least for the next 4yrs and in order to do that, I need to complete the last payment for our land rent before 18 Sept 2024. One of the things I love about dogs are their simplicity. It doesn't take much (like ridiculously very little) to make them happy. If they can have fancy toys, they'd be happy but without those either they can still find things they enjoy. This trait is not easy to find in us humans, somehow society just makes us believe the more we have the better we are and yet everyday I see people who are so much better in life than myself keep drowning in greed, arrogance and worst of all, ingratitude. My guess is because they don't have dogs 😌 (If they do, they may not love them yet or at all). That's why despite the financial upheaval I constantly experience, I'm grateful I have them in my life. They make life simple 🙏🏻❤️🐶
