We don't wanna face the closure of our Dog Shelter!

The financial collapse of covid keeps us struggling like never before, the leaving fate of 200 Dog's would be a dramatic loss as pandemic continues to take its toll.

The Bali Dog Association Association Foundation can only survive for another two months after this we need to face the closure of the Dog Sanctuary.

Pandemic has seen fundraising events cancelled and donations drop, while rescuing bills have spiked in recent weeks, with several dogs needing costly treatments.

Also with a Monthly lack of more than 1500 USD we are huge underfunded.

The pandemic has also resulted a rise of Dogs in needing a Shelter.

The running costs at Bali Dog Association are approximately 3600 a month and it is a simple fact of life that if we have the continued prospect of no income and possible future Covid restrictions that would keep our Charities Activities mostly closed until after the summer season, then closure may be a real possibility.

I honestly can’t think of a better way to spend the summer days ahead than relaxing by a pool, playing with puppies in the sunshine.

Now, this may just seem like some surreal fantasy my brain has cooked up to help push me through the mires of Monday.

However, this heavenly scenario can actually be achieved on earth by those lucky enough to be travelling to Bali this summer.

Bali hostel has rescue puppies from a Non Profit Organization called Bali Dog Association to play with.

The Puri Garden Hotel & Hostel, located in the beautiful village of Ubud, provides a haven for those who just can’t get enough of doggy cuddles.

These puppies, who may not have had the happiest starts in life, benefit hugely from the love and affection showered on them by guests.

Hostel owner Daniel Silva told UNILAD how these lovely afternoon sessions help get these puppies ready for adoption, building their lost trust in humans:

My guests are the ones making the puppies feel more at peace as many of them are very traumatised. The puppy therapy helps them to re-socialise and trust gain in humans as here in Bali lots of locals treat them very badly.

But its also a great opportunity for our guests to have a great time cuddling these little ones. Plus this activity helps to prepare the puppies for adoption.
