In 2 weeks, our pop-up cat clinic provided medical care for 280 cats, 2 guinea pigs, and 1 bird. Weโre thrilled to share the impact of our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts on Gili Air:
๐บ Cats sterilized: 161 cats and counting!
๐ Kittens prevented: Countless kittens avoided in the last year!
๐ Vaccinations & treatments: More than 200 cats vaccinated, dewormed, and defleaed.
๐ฉบ Sick and injured cats treated: 76 cats received life-saving medical care.
Thanks to these efforts, weโre seeing a healthier, more balanced stray cat population and a noticeable reduction in unwanted kittens across the island. These numbers show that TNR is working, but thereโs still more to do!

With close to 300 cats helped in two weeks, the teamโs efforts are a step toward achieving the goal of sterilizing and vaccinating 80% of the stray cat population on the Gili Islands!
