What goes on behind the process of caring for freshwater crocodiles at Bali Wildlife Rescue Center!👩‍⚕

in the early of 2024, we provided vitamin injections, conducted gender checks, and took some blood samples of the freshwater crocodile. Our dedicated students from Brawijaya University were helping in, gaining valuable handling and taking care experience of our wildlife conservation effort.

We will release a rehabilitated Javan Hawk Eagle back into its natural habitat. After six months of dedicated care and rehabilitation at the Bali Wildlife Rescue Center, this magnificent creature is ready to take flight once again🦅🌟

Other eagles are free! 🦅

Together with , , village officers, Police and Military of Nusa Penida, we released 2 Black Kites (Milvus migrans) in Nusa Penida.

These two eagles were confiscated from illegal keeping and trading. We were able to rehabilitate them until they're ready to be free!

2 days activities with ACS International Singapore ✨

As their program of Bali Wildlife Service Trip 2023, the students helped us from feeding to cleaning the animal cages. On the last day, they also had a mission to make nest boxes for our conservation project in 🥰

Just arrived last week four protected wildlife to the rescue centre from BKSDA Bali
- Yellow-crested Cockatoo
- Black-capped Lory
- Eclectus Parrot
- Brahminy Kite (juvenile)

At this moment, these animals are kept in quarantine cages and will be moved to their main cages for the rehabilitation process.

These wildlife are kept illegally by the owner before. It's very sad to see these beautiful birds not flying free in the wild 💔

Be Free, Eagle! ❤

Last Saturday, together with BKSDA Bali, we had a chance to release a Changeable Hawk Eagle in Batukaru area after the rehabilitation process at our centre.

This eagle was one of our wildlife that has good condition and improvement. It can hunt its prey and fly very well making us decide to release it back to the habitat 🦅

Thank you to everyone who always supports our work so that we can release more animals back to the wild ❤🙏

One thing we do to know the growth of our animals is doing Morphometrics. It aims to take the measurement of size data like analyzing the lengths, widths, and masses.

is a community-based project that pays attention to the development of a decentralized world and at the same time supports charitable activities. 0913 Foundation contributes a lot to charitable activities through donation programs to charitable organizations, animal conservation and the environment.

This time, the 0913 Foundation supports the activities of FNPF as a conservation organization in Bali and Borneo. They helped us in taking care of Balou, the Sun Bear, and Eagles at the Bali Wildlife Rescue Center to get a better rehabilitation.

White cockatoo is native to Maluku, Halmahera in eastern Indonesia, and falls under the Endangered Species category. This white cockatoo is white-crested and all of the body is white. It is different from other cockatoos which usually have a color in the crest.

To be able to give him all the care he needs, we are looking for foster parents for our cockatoo and other animals. For USD 20 per month you can make sure that our cockatoo will be taken well care of, and in return you will receive a certificate for each lucky animal you foster!

GOOD NEWS FOR BALOU! 😍

On this FNPF 25th silver anniversary, We are so happy to announce a good news for BALOU!

She will be relocated to Borneo!!👏❤

After taking the DNA test to make sure where Balou comes from, we got the result that Balou comes from Borneo. So she is a Bornean Sun Bear 👏🐻

OTHER THAN THAT, there was good news from BOS that they will accept Balou to be rehabilitated at their center 🥺

This is a now HOPE for Balou for her better future 🤗

Last year, we released 2 Brahminy Kites in Nusa Penida island. Then, now we still have one kite with permanent injuries on its foot. It will stay at the center for the rest of its life 💔

Eclectus parrot has a unique colour, they have sexual dichromatism. Male and female are of different colours. The male bird is green, while the female is red. At BWRC, we have 3 eclectus parror, 2 male and 1 female.

To be able to give them all the care they need, we are looking for foster parents for our parrot and other animals. For USD 20 per month you can make sure that these parrots will be taken well care of, and in return you will receive a certificate for each lucky animal you foster!

Green Tree Python (Morelia viridis) is a python species native to Papua island of Indonesia, New Guinea, and Australia. They live in Rainforest, residing in trees, shrubs, and bushes. This python eat mostly small birds, small mammals and reptiles.

Green tree pythons are named for their vibrant green color but this pythons are nonvenomous 🐍

You can meet this beautiful snake at our centre 🥰

A Juvenile Changeable Hawk-Eagle 🦅

This eagle was bought by a local people from Facebook out of pity. He brought the eagle to to save the eagle's life. Now it's our turn to rehabilitate the eagle so he can fly freely in the wild as soo as possible ✨
