If you feed your dog kibbles or any kind of packed dog food. Do take a look at the list of ingredients as there are few you should be on the lookout for! Here’s a list of ingredients to avoid:

Healthy dog p**p should be chocolate brown in color with compact shape, a little bit moist texture but easy to pick up with no foul smell. Medications, supplements and their health could impact how their stools look like. But most importantly, it shouldn’t stray too far from being medium brown in color, mostly solid and log-shaped.

Which Peanut Butter?

Dogs could eat - and many really enjoy peanut butter! But do beware of ingredients that may be harmful for them such as artificial sweetener known as xylitol. It is toxic to dogs and can be fatal even in small amounts. The best one should be plain, unsweetened peanut butter.

If you’re feeling like going the extra mile, try making one yourself by simply blending dry roasted peanuts in food processor until the desired consistency and keep it in airtight container inside the fridge (could last up to a month 😉).

Best environment for small and large dogs

Smaller canines: indoor with various shapes or size of play crates/playpens.
Larger canines: large indoor space with crates and gates that separate them from areas they shouldn’t be in or outdoor space with lots of shade.

Be sure to be able to provide the space your pooch need to live comfortably before adopting one!

How to soothe pet hiccups

Most of the times, pet hiccups are brief and harmless. However, if you observe your pet’s hiccups are causing them discomfort, here’s several gentle remedies you can try to help them subside:
1. Offer them a few sips of fresh, cool water as act of swallowing can hep reset the diaphragm’s rhythm and soothe irritation.
2. Gently stroke your pet’s chest and belly in a circular motion as this can help relax their muscles.
3. Distract them with your pet’s favorite activity or toys as a simple change of focus can be all it takes to break the hiccup cycle.
Consult your veterinarian if your pet experiences frequent and prolonged hiccups to rule out any health concerns!
