Meet Nala!
She is a beautiful 18 month old, German Shepherd. She is good with dogs of all sizes, chickens, potbelly pigs, cats and ducks. She barks at horses if they get too close to her humans (guards us), but is fine with us on the horses; and will follow you in the trail (short ones/her safety). Free range, she will "herd" your livestock and animals, lol. Her breed and job.
In the home, she will follow you everywhere and knows the dog door.

Anyone willing to open their home to a scared senior?

Buddy came to PCACC when a local rescue closed down and needed help placing some of their longer residents.

Buddy is a 9 year old Schnauzer/Poodle mix who is VERY scared here in the shelter. Once Buddy gets to know you for a minute he will jump right into your lap for love and attention! He loves treats and appears to be housebroken! Buddy gets along great with other dogs and walks well on leash.

Because Buddy is fearful of being cornered and grabbed quickly we do not recommend he go to a home with small children.

Please come in and meet Buddy today!

Hi there!
We have a gorgeous Mom and daughter pair, named Lady and Daisy.
Lady/ Mama is a homozygous white standard donkey who is approximately 12.3-13hh. She is papered/listed as, age 9. She was packed on and sadly, (over) bred.Lady leads and halters, allows fly mask, will trailer, but she must trust you/her person. She was rescued with Daisy at the Bastrop Texas, kill pen back in 2023 with, then, 8 week old Daisy. She was emaciated when she arrived, and her crest is forever broken. She has put on great weight and stands/lifts all four for the farrier. I believe I could ride her easily, but never have tried do to letting her gain weight and raise Daisy. 💓
Daisy is now one year old and was raised like/around the dogs, 🤣. She is highly social, curious, and will try to come into your house, car and follow you everywhere. Curious like a kitten. Loves her momma and tried to nurse up until 10 months old, 🤔.
Both Lady and Daisy are fantastic with other animals, passive and on the low pecking order with our horses. They are fine with our pot belly pigs. They are fine with our own dogs/consider them their herd; so we are confident with proper introduction, they would be fine with yours (as long as your dogs aren't punks and chase or growl at them).
Daisy will be a tall donkey she is almost as tall as mama; and just turned one. Lady was in with stallions of horse and donkey variety, so dad unknown.
They are bonded and must stay together. Pasture home desired. Can deliver for gas within reason. Good home a must.
