Kilmessan Chase will take place this year on December 8th at 12pm

With a new route yet again for 2024 and fantastic jumping from start to finish,this is an event not to be missed!!
With over 100 riders last year we expect 2024 to be just as popular .

All proceeds raised from this go directly to funding GAA coaching for our local schools .

Eamon Waters - ‘post challenge interview’
winning 1st veteran (over 50yr). He was talked up as a gutsy rider and by God, didn’t he deliver. Short priced to take the veteran prize but you need courage and daring, which both Eamon & his lionhearted horse Tully, showed in spades.Fantastic 3 mile challenge but will he be back to defend his title.

Guinness World Record Holder & Equestrian superstar Susan Oakes taking on THE ANTLER in Sidesaddle.😮 Not only did she win the Gate Jumping competition at 1.45m but rode in the Senior & almost made it, falling at fence 23, hedge & ditch (sponsored by Ronan Group & Key Capital) Phenomenal riding achievement and her amazing coloured horse, Jeff. Antler Challenge 2025 17th March - Primrose Farm

Antler trilogy is offical, we are delighted to announce, Sunday 16th March 2025 will be the 5th running of ‘The Antler Challenge’ and entries will open tomorrow from 12pm (Noon) for 7 days only and capped at 15 Juniors places & 15 Senior places. A separate link will be posted for entry. (31st December 2024 the reminding rider places will go live.) (This will guarantee a rider, a chance to take on this famous course & 12 months to find or school a suitable and willing partner. Junior Challenge, Gate Jumping Competition, Senior Challenge. A ‘Stag & Hind’ End Of Season Party will happen after the Antler Challenge in a nearby town with live music, hot food & dancing 💃🏼🕺🏼

Superb riding & what a Horse, Cherrymount Bruno, Desert Orchid reincarnated, absolutely superstar.
