🐾❄️ Cold Weather Alert for Pet Owners! ❄️🐾

As the temperatures drop, it's important to keep our furry friends safe and warm. Here are a few tips to ensure your pets stay protected during the cold weather:

1️⃣ Limit time outside - Just like us, pets can get cold quickly. Keep outdoor time brief, especially for small breeds, seniors, juveniles and pets with thin coats.

2️⃣ Provide shelter - If your pet must be outside, make sure they have access to a warm, dry place to retreat.

3️⃣ Keep paws clean - Ice, salt, and chemicals can be harsh on your pet’s paws. Wipe their paws after walks to remove any harmful substances.

4️⃣ Dress warmly - Some pets may benefit from a cozy jumper or jacket when venturing outside.

5️⃣ Watch for signs of hypothermia - Shivering, lethargy, and disorientation.

Dear people with Xl Bully's
Irish government didn't say everyone who has xl bully has to get rid off, the law says
Microchip, get dog license, train your dog and get neutered!!!!
How come people were loving the breed before & now they don't want to fallow the requirements to keep their loving dog , people rather dumped them , its very sad situation for every xl bully in this country.

Another baby dumped tonight 💔💔💔💔💔

What is wrong with some humans 🤬🤬🤬
This little baby boy is only about 3 months old, he can’t fend for himself, dumping him at night on a lonely road is sending him to his death 💔💔💔

Thankfully the good humans saved the day, he’s now with us and is safe, a quiet little dote, his whole world turned upside down by cruelty 💔💔💔💔

Guys please stop buying rawhide treats, they are no good for your dos!!!

💥RAWHIDE IS DANGEROUS💥

Just a little warning regarding the Xmas treat many stores are now starting to stock for dogs at xmas.

Many of these so called treats end up with the dog "enjoying" some time in a veterinary surgery over Christmas.

The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.

The chews are made from cattle or horse hides and their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.
On testing, these chews have shown traces of arsenic, mercury, chromium and formaldehyde.

If that wasn't bad enough, they regularly cause intestinal blockages, poisoning from chemical residue and choking.
The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

Leave them in the shop where they belong or if some well meaning person buys them for your dog put them safely away for later, then dispatch in the bin!
