Great idea.

It's waterproof, it keep them warm, it can't be easily damaged by bad people, it's a study that every animal can figure out easily, one to every neighborhood, let's make it happen this winter, this cat's house.

For anyone feeding ferals outside- this is a very easy, cheap, and affective setup

They make pipe caps for anyone worries about mosquitoes and rodents/ants finding their way into these… good idea if you can stay vigilant about capping them off when not outside!

Danger of letting dogs swim in Lakes
Blooms of blue-green algae can produce harmful toxins which stop a dog’s liver from functioning properly. However, not all types of blue-green algae are dangerous. Sadly, exposure to toxic blue-green algae is often fatal, and can also cause long term health problems in dogs that survive after drinking or swimming in algae-contaminated water.
