Meet Pepper, a beautiful two-year-old springer who found herself collapsed in the clinic after a fun adventure resulting in rat poison consumption. After a thoracentesis, removing a large quantity of blood from around the lungs and further diagnostics tests. We were in urgent need of a blood donor. Thankfully Zeus was there to step in for his FIFTH blood collection.

With careful monitoring from our out of hour team, along with useful in-house equipment. Pepper continued to improve after the blood transfusion.

We are delighted to say Pepper is on the mend and visited us yesterday for a recheck appointment.
