We were delighted to host our first Farming For Nature Farm Walk on Saturday.
Andrew enthralled our guests who turned out on the wettest of days. Fair play to you all 👏
Highlights of the day included looking at a variety of habitats both man made and natural, wildlife hedges, riparian zones, native woodland and grassland.
Some great questions and thoughtful conversations ensued around the small changes we can all make to support nature on our farms.
Thanks to fellow ambassador Tommy Earley for the support on the day and for taking some great pictures.

It’s a big weekend for us here in Knockvicar Alpacas.

The very knowledgeable Claire Whitehead from Camelid Veterinary Services in the Uk has travelled to Ireland to teach two 1 day courses on alpaca husbandry.

Together with the National Organic Training Skillsnet we are super excited to be hosting and learning more about these special animals.

Unfortunately this does mean that the farm is closed to visitors this weekend.
