Little Mush
Little Mush came to Mulcair Vets last month because she was vomiting. After taking radiographs we could see there may be a blockage but we couldn't see why.
We carried out a surgery to investigate any possible blockages and found twine that Little Mush had chewed on from a home cooked roast! We had to remove part of her bowel to clear the blockage and joined the bowel together again.
She has made a full recovery and is doing well, she is a very lucky cat!

Did you know about "Horse Clipping"? Horses grow their hair longer in the winter time to protect them from the cold. But if your horse is in regular exercise he or she will then sweat more. This will take them much longer to cool and dry off. So horses that are active in the winter can be clipped. This involves shaving the lower portion of a horse or pony allowing them to dry off much more quickly and cool off more affectively! However if a horse is clipped, they need to wear a rug to stay warm.
Pet of the week!
