Hi everyone,

I got this collapsable travel bowl to put water into for when I'm out walking your fur babies, the dogs love it and its brilliant to have so your dogs can stay hydrated especially in the warmer months of the year.

It folds up completely flat to save space and can be easily attached to your belt or your dogs lead as it comes with a clip!
This will most certainly be used and should definitely be very liked by all. 🐾🐕

What are the signs a dog has heatstroke or is in distress?

Signs of heatstroke can progress quickly and can include:
•Heavy panting, even when not exercising.
•Tiredness.
•Breathing problems, particularly in brachycephalic dogs.
•Dribbling.
•Stiffness or an unwillingness to move.
•Confusion.
•Vomiting, can be bloody.
•Collapsing.
•Fitting.
•Not walking in a straight line.

If you think your dog may have heatstroke it is vital that you immediately contact your vet while cooling them down. Getting early advice and treatment is essential to saving a dog’s life. Research has found that in Ireland, although 1 in 7 dogs that are taken to vets with heatstroke die, 98% that are seen early with mild signs are likely to survive.

🌞 Hot weather tips 🌞

We do love to see the sun, but like ourselves our pets will struggle in the warmer temperatures that they are not accustomed to 🥵

Please keep your pets out of the sun during the warmest parts of the day & when they are out in it ensure they have access to shade & plenty of water💧

Rabbits, guinea pigs & other exotic breeds are particularly vulnerable in this heat, guinea pigs have no sweat glands so are unable to regulate their temperature by sweating- keep them indoors & cool in the warmer weather away from direct sunlight 😎

If your cat's are out & about during the day provide them with clean fresh water dispersed throughout their territory & shaded areas 🐈

Brachycephalic dog breeds due to their inability to pant efficiently puts them at greater risk of heat stroke & heat exhaustion 🐶

Heat stroke in our pets is a medical emergency, if you have any concerns about your pet regarding the warmer weather please do get in touch & follow the below chart for all the dos & don'ts 🐈🐕🐰💜
