This is Chris🐯
Chris came to see Dr. Leonie as his owners noticed his ear swelled up. This swelling is called an aural haematoma and can be caused by ear mites, an ear infection or other underlying problems. When the cat shakes their head or itches their ears repeatedly it can result in a swelling. Chris got treated here for it and is doing well since. He was the best patient🥰🐯🧡

UPDATE HOME SAFE

MISSING

Frank is missing from his home in Manor Village Castlebar. He is just 4-5 months old and recently adopted from NWSPCA.

He is an indoor only kitten and has accidentally escaped. His family are distraught and looking for him everywhere.

Frank is microchipped and usually friendly but might be scared when he suddenly finds himself outside. If you see him please report immediately to NWSPCA as he might need to be trapped.

We would ask that people in the area please check their car engines before driving off.

This little chap was in to see Dr. Alex for his vaccinations.
He only weighed in at 550g! That's less than a bag of sugar.😂
He was very brave for his injections and got plenty of cuddle of Dr. Alex and RVN Pamela!😍

Pretty girl White Socks who belongs to our RVN Lorraine came to visit everyone this week to get routine blood work done just to make sure everything looked ok. Thankfully her bloods were perfect👌🏼

We always recommend blood work on pets especially as they get a little older like White Socks🧦

Best boy Lumi is all grown up! We first met him as a teeny tiny puppy & his most recent visit was his post op check after getting neutered. He was a brave boy throughout and we are glad he has recovered well and is back to normal activity😄🤍

Not only are they the first friendly smiley faces you see once you arrive here at the hospital, they are highly trained in a number of areas, having gone through years of training in college. They also keep up to date with the latest drugs and nursing care options through continued professional development training.

A typical week here at the hospital sees our RVNs perform the following under the direction of our vets:

As you can see they carry out duties in all aspects of veterinary care.
They are both highly skilled and knowledgeable individuals who significantly impact the experience of both patients and owners in the hospital, and we are very lucky to have them work here!🍀🙌🎊

Brody 💙

Brody visited the hospital as his owner noticed he was a little off form. He was a little off his food, and he was reluctant to go on his walks.

After a thorough examination by Dr. Leonie, it was noted that he had an issue with his joints.
After some medication, he is doing really well!
