When someone asks " How much to groom a Cockapoo " well all depends on their size. As they are a cross bred dog, it all depends on what the parents were. Toy, mini or standard poodle & cocker spaniel... depends on how long since they were last groomed AND the condition of their coats. Temperament is also important . So it's kinda like " how long is a piece of string" until I actually get my hands into the coat and see how they behave. We don't price by breed, we price on time taken from start to finish. Here is a typical example of 3 cockapoos, 3 totally different sizes & coat types. Yes it took about 50 photos to get these few. The magic wasn't happening today 🤣

Absolutely fabulous service from Steven @ Hard Water Solutions. After 17 years my filtration system gave up the ghost , and with this being a very hard water area there is no option only replace it. One phone call to these guys and new system installed today. Excellent work, very good prices so all our kennels , dog grooming salon and home will be limescale free with top quality soft water for us all. Highly recommend these guys for efficient service.

What is " Proof of Ownership " of a dog in Ireland... we see this regularly on rescue posts so legally you must have your dog microchipped and registered in your name. If you change address or phone number you must update your information. If you have your dog chipped, have your vet check it is on one of the databases recognised in Ireland. Too late if your dog goes missing and is found- you have NO proof you own the dog without it registration certificate.

Oh lads what is going on with this weather. Even the doggos don't wanna stick their noses out. It's fab when they can be outside enjoying life but it's out for a quick p*e and back inside again. So hard keep everything dry and fresh in this weather. Where are the long evenings gone when they could stretch out in the evening sun ? Its tough weather on man & beast. Milo just considering ......

Again the biggest issue we are coming across this year are vaccinations. ALL dogs entering boarding kennels MUST have up to date shots for Lepto , Parvo & Canine flu/ Kennel cough. There is NO point booking a kennel and then discovering your dogs are not inoculated. There is NO point getting them done a few days before they are due to come in, as they will be turned away. These vaccines have an incubation period and will be refused if not done a minimum of 30 days prior to boarding. VACCINATION MUST BE BOOSTED YEARLY not just when you dog was a puppy. Please check your vet certificate or contact your vet . It is NOT your kennels job to chase these vaccinations, same as it's not Ryanairs job to chase your passport expiry. Attached is a photo of a fully vaccinated & Canine influenza/ kennel cough , up to date cert.

I'm so thankful to work with the most amazing owners here. It's a place of fun , laughs, circle of trust on occasions, tears at times , happy days , happy dogs & cats, happy owners, and the beauty of it is my lovely regulars know me so well and my " direct" ways lol . Honestly couldn't do this without ye all and I appreciate each and every one of ye. Love my job even on the bad days.

Beautiful Labradoodle puppy stayed recently. She's gonna be a big beautiful blonde 🥰 and just a pleasure to spend time with. Full of loves and cuddles- when she winds down

Has to be the nuttiest boy we have . NO off switch, can't remove the batteries, and is a ball of energy. But he's getting loads of running round with his new buddies this week. Lucky ya lunatic but I loves ya 😘

Our Amazon Garden area is now open . We use this area for families of dogs 4 & over ( from the same household) They have a 16 x 12 ft fully insulated log cabin, an 8 x 6 2 section kennel and a massive orchard area and concrete area all to themselves. They can go in and out as they please all day. Fully secured with eco fencing, double gates and cctv. This space books out very fast so let us know if you want to book in advance. Available from May to October only.

Cody & Millie.. poor Cody was under the weather last week but is absolutely loving his holidays with us. And in fabulous form again.

One of my long standing girlies. Miss Coco is coming to us for almost 9 years. And I still adore having her. She's very partial to a bit of liver cake sssshhhh her mammy reckons she wouldn't eat much.. but Coco get it into ya pet. 🥰

We dont see many of this beautiful breed so we are very priveledged to have this one for grooming , as well as 3 other beauties who reside with us for holiday. So much bigger than people imagine the Corgi is a fabulous dog. But by God do they shed. So today this guy had a massive deshed and groom. Big job, big clean up hair everywhere but looked super duper going home

And not forgetting our BIG boy Drogan. Hes been coming to us since he was a small puppy ( tho i dunno was he ever small ) big baba and protector.

Izzy is having the time of her life. Such a fabulous little lady who is full of life and is my full time helper here over Christmas. Wired

We are on the home straight here at the Doghouse. Grooming reminders all sent on and we cant wait to see our regular Christmas week doggos. Please be on time for drop offs , make sure ur pups have been to the toilet and done their business cause poop on the tables or crates this week makes us cranky.😇🤣 we will contact all owners once their pet is ready and we ask that they are picked up max 30 mins after contact. We cannot keep them all day as we have a one in one out policy this mad week. Love all yer a great auld bunch
