Fun fact Wednesday 🤓 Ticks are becoming a real problem this summer 🌞 Did you know that ticks don’t jump or fly instead they crawl up low bushes or grass to grab onto a passing human or animal 🌾 They bury their teeth deep into the skin and can remain attached for days on end. They can spread infections such as Lyme’s disease so prompt and correct removal is crucial! 🦠 Below is a video of a tick we removed from a cat last week. 🔬 Its important that when removing ticks that the whole tick is removed. Make sure that you pet is all up to date with their flea and tick treatment this summer! 💊
