Dear Pet Owners,
With Halloween here, we urge you to keep your cats—especially black cats—safe and indoors tonight. Recently, we treated a beloved cat who tragically fell victim to a cruel Halloween "prank." Despite our best efforts, this sweet cat did not survive, suffering from a collapsed lung and a pellet injury to his knee.
Halloween can be a dangerous time for pets. Black cats, in particular, are often targeted in harmful acts, and dogs may become frightened by unexpected fireworks and loud noises, which can lead to anxiety or attempts to escape. Please take extra precautions tonight to protect all of your pets.
Thank you for helping to keep our cherished animals safe.
With sympathy, Claremorris Pet Clinic
