This little female kitten was found last night not far from the Eco campsite in Claddaghduff. Does anybody recognise her? She is very friendly and not injured, is being well taken care of by the finder but we are keen to reunite her with her owner as she is very friendly. Last weekend we celebrated our wonderful nurse Sylvia working 20yrs at Western Veterinary.
Sylvia is the workhorse that keeps the wheels in motion at the clinic, always cool, calm & collected.
She has seen the business pass through three different owners over her time here and seen many changes, yet she never complains.
She is kind and gentle to all our patients (even those that are not so kind to her!), caring for them throughout each day.
Sylvia thank you for your dedication and from all the pets in Connemara....thank you for your care.
We hope you will spend another 20yrs with us! 🥰

Osteoarthritis affects around 4/10 cats and dogs!
Symptoms include:
🔹Difficulty jumping
🔹Slow to get up and down
🔹Limping after exercise
🔹Difficulty with stairs
🔹Stiff after a period of rest

Connemara Pony Talk

It’s last minute present time don’t forget your pets 🎄

Tomorrow will be a sad day at Western Veterinary as we say goodbye to these fabulous members of staff. Everyone that has attended the clinic over the past 18months will know both Nerea and Colin have been a huge asset to the team and will be sadly missed. Nerea our lovely vet will continue on to the next chapter in her Veterinary career and Colin will be returning to complete his degree in vet medicine. We wish them both the very best of luck in their journeys and wish to thank them all deeply from the bottom of our hearts for all the care and attention they provided to our patients.
