Today was Moki's aka Clonbelo Winter Glow (CJW 23, CEN JW, Jun Ch, JD) first Championship Show since Crufts in March.

Today's show was the Munster Canine "Canine Clans" All Breed Ch. Show.
Congratulations to Mr. Colm Hastings and the committee of the Munster Canine Association for running a very enjoyable and well run show.

I was delighted with her performance winning GREEN STAR BITCH and BEST OF BREED.

Thank you Judge Paul Lawless for thinking so highly of Moki and giving her her FIRST POINT towards her Irish Champion title.

Luna's daughter Bonnie owned by Karla Shevlin also had an excellent day out winning her Adult class receiving an Excellent grade. Well done Karla.

What a wonderful trip to Crufts we had. It was our first time there. Moki was out of coat for the occasion but delighted to see her perform in our biggest competition so far with 16 entered in her class alone. There was 118 Samoyed entered in total.
Great to see her sister Bonnie (owner Karla Shevlin ) in the ring too. They both did us proud.

What a roll Moki is on.

Our results from the two shows that were rescheduled originally meant to be held over the St Patrick’s weekend and was held instead on the 10th and 11th June.

It was lovely to be back at the National Show Centre in Cloghran. And it didn't disappoint. Well done to the Irish Kennel Club on running 2 very successful and very enjoyable shows.

Saturday was Celtic Winner’s International Show::

Sunday it was the IKC St Patrick’s Day National Show

First Moki and I headed into the Junior Stakes ring.
Moki performed extremely well coming 2nd in this very competitive event. What a great start to the day. Thank you judge Linda Matthews for thinking so highly of her.

Later on we went on to compete in the Breed class.

Yippee, Moki has now gained her last point for her national Junior Champion title.

We had a great day today at the Munster Canine Association All Breed Championship Show held in Fermoy. Not only did she get her last JUNIOR CHAMPION point but she also picked up RESERVE GREEN STAR BITCH.

Last weekend the 27th and 28th May, Moki and I headed for Naas Racecourse for Moki's second and third championship show this year.

Saturday was the Spitz and Primative Br. Group Championship Show.

Results
Moki (Clonbelo Winter Glow). Graded Excellent and 1st place in Junior class. This gives her her 3rd point towards her Junior Championship title. Thank you to our Judge Ms Ashleigh Griffin (NI) for thinking so highly of Moki.

Well done to Maria Weafer, Dione Fitzsimons the hard working committee for hosting this most enjoyable and very well run show.

Sunday was the Navan Group 5 Dog Club Show.

Results
Moki was Graded Excellent and 1st in her Junior class , giving her, her 4th point for JC.
She also went on to win RESERVE GREEN STAR Bitch.

Sunday at Fermoy All Breed International Championship Show, held at Ferryhouse was Moki's (Clonbelo Winter Glow), first Championship Show of the year.

We had an early start heading into the ring at 9.30am for the Junior Stakes. Under Judge Ms. Olive Taylor, Moki had a nice start to the day being short listed. Thank you Olive for thinking so highly of her.

We had a lond wait for the Breed class but that gave us a lot of time to get settled and practice beforehand.

We had another lovely Judge for the Breed class, Mrs. Gael Morison from South Africa who went over every dog with great care and gave us all every opportunity to show our dogs at their best.

Moki won her Junior class with an excellent grade giving her her 2nd point for her Junior Champion title and also her 2nd CACIB towards her Junior International title. She then went on to win RGSB.

I am so delighted with her and looking forward to the year ahead.

In the early hours of Saturday morning 8th April Luna (Clarokonda Zanya At Clonbelo) and I headed for Naas Racecourse for this years Combined Canine All Breed International Championship Show. As the sun shone down on us for the day, it was a perfect start to this year's Championship Shows.
Congratulations to the hard working committee of The Combined Canine Club for hosting this very enjoyable and very well run show.

And a perfect start we had in the ring too.
Luna received an Excellent grade and was placed first in her class.
This allowed her to challenge for the Green Star and also for the CACIB (International title).

Luna won her 5th Green Star and also her 2nd CACIB.

She then went on to win RBOB.

She was fantastic in the ring considering she hadn't been in the ring since the Circuit last August.
Thanks to our wonderful ringcraft teacher Niamh Callaghan for getting us ready.

It's been a while since we posted but Clonbelo Winter Glow, aka Moki, has been busy.
Since her winning the Breed class and runner-up in Group 5 at the Sliabhardagh Open Show in October, we kept going and did as many Open Shows as we could over the last number of months.

Last year on the 29th December Moki and her sisters and brother arrived into the world. Can't believe a year has gone by already. Happy Birthday Casper, Indy, Bonnie and my Moki. Looking forward to seeing what you all get up to in 2023.

October Results

While Luna was enjoying her out of Coat season for the month, it was time to get back into the ring with her daughter Moki (Clonbelo Winter Glow), who had not been in the ring since MAS - National Dog Show in July.

After just turning 9 months a couple of days before, on the 1st October we headed off to Navan Racecourse for the Irish Kennel Club Centenary All Breed International Championship Show.

Huge Congratulations to the hard working committees of the Irish Kennel Club for holding this very successful and very enjoyable show. We were lucky with the weather for most of the day and when the rain finally started the venue provided plenty of shelter.

Although our ring was on a slight slope, this didn't phase Moki as she moved beautifully around the ring. Moki can now add Junior Centenary Champion to her achievements. Huge thank you to Judge Mrs. H Jensen (Denmark) for thinking so highly of Moki. This also gave Moki her first point towards her Junior Champion title.

16th October
We headed to Castleisland for the Tralee and District Open Show for Moki's first ever indoor show.
The venue was a fine big bright hall with loads of space, lovely big rings and a great atmosphere. Congratulations and thank you to the Tralee and District Canine Club for hosting a very enjoyable show.

Huge thank you to Judge Ms. A Mooney for thinking so highly of Moki and awarding her 1st in her Class and also Best of Breed.

23rd October
Off to Mullinahone for the Sliabhardagh All Breed Open Show. Huge congratulations to this hard working committee on hosting their first ever Open Show. This was a very enjoyable show, great turnout, fantastic atmosphere and a beautiful venue with good sized rings.

Moki performed very well on the day. Huge thank you to Judge Mr. Tim Galvin for thinking so highly of Moki and awarding her 1st in Class, Best of Breed and Reserve Best in Group.

The Circuit

What an exciting week. I never did the Circuit before so was really looking forward to it and hoping for good weather also. And thankfully we weren't disappointed.

Each venue had a lovely setting and was beautifully laid out for the shows. The weather held up for the week which added to the enjoyment of the shows (although a tad too hot for me on Sunday, I thought I was going to melt).

I decided only to focus on one dog for the week - Clarokonda Zanya At Clonbelo aka Luna.

Thanks to judge, Mr. Paul Scanlon for thinking so highly of Luna and awarding her 1st place in her class, with a grade of Excellent. This allowed her to go on to compete for the Green Star. She was awarded Reserve Green Star Bitch (RGSB). A really nice start to the week.

Luna went into the ring and performed very well and successfully won her Open Bitch class and went on to challenge for the Green Star. Huge thank you to judge Mr.Guy Jeavons (Canada) for thinking so highly of Luna and awarding her the Green Star(GSB). Luna then went on to challenge for Best of Breed (BOB), here she received RBOB.

Again I was so pleased to with how Luna performed and again she won her Open Bitch class and went on to challenge for the Green Star. Never thought we could be this lucky to win another Green Star but that's just what Luna went and did. This exceeds all my expectations with Luna for this year. She again went back into the ring to challenge for the BOB and once again was awarded RBOB. Huge thanks to judge Anita Foley Duggan for thinking so highly of Luna.

Final day of the circuit and thankfully the weather held up and was a perfect day for showing.

We were off to Cork again today for the MAS - National Dog Show held at the Cork Show Ground.

She seem so happy with you in the ring. Thanks to judge, Mr. Michael Leonard for thinking so highly of Moki and awarding her 1st place in her class, with a grade of "Very Promising", which gives her, her second 2 points for her Junior Diploma.

Luna went into the ring next and performed very well and successfully won her Open Bitch class and went on to challenge for the Green Star. Despite been a little distracted sharing the ring with her daughter she managed to win Reserve Green Star (RGSB). Thanks again to judge Michael Leonard for thinking so highly of Luna.
