Hello again everyone 🙂
I've spent the day power washing and painting so I'm almost ready to open my doors again (did they ever close???)

March and September are already fully booked, plenty of dates free in April but May - August have very limited availability.

On that note, if you need to cancel a booking, please let me know as soon as you can as I have a very long waiting list!!

I'm looking forward to another year of fun and frolics with all my friends, new and old 🐶

Hello Happy Paws friends, my name is Koda and I'm asking for your help 💛

This beautiful girl needs to find a new home as her current owner is no longer able to offer her the stability that all dogs need and deserve.

Koda is a 4 year old American Bulldog who asks for nothing more than cuddles, kisses and bum scratches 🙂
She walks perfectly on lead, but can react to small yapping dogs, doesn't shed hair and even waits at the back door for her paws to be cleaned 💕

I'm helping out a friend and keeping her with me for the next couple of weeks so visits are encouraged if you know of anyone who could make room in their hearts for her.
She would be best suited to a home with no other pets.

If you, or anyone you know, think you could offer Koda a home, please message me.
She is honestly one of the most affectionate dogs I have ever met 💕

New year, new throws for the couch 🙂
At the moment, Nancy is going to be the first to check them out. A new recruit that I can't wait to meet 👋

So, here's what's happening.....
I already have 7 dogs on a waiting list, which means, anyone that has provisionally booked dates with me needs to confirm or release them by January 31st.

I started Happy Paws as a very laid back way for me to get all the loves with none of the commitment but, thanks to all your support, it has now grown into a full blown business venture!!

This leads me to having to make some changes in 2024:

1. I will no longer be taking provisional bookings

2. A €50, non refundable, deposit will be required to secure a booking

3. I will only be open from 1st March to 30th September. I know I said the same thing last year but this is now not open to negotiation.

4. The only thing that won't be changing is the care, love and cuddles that your dogs will receive while they are with me 💕

I hope you all understand and respect my need to do this and I look forward to another year of fun and frolics with all my furry friends 🐈

And just like that, my second year as Happy Paws has come to an end.

Thank you so much for trusting me to look after your pooches, I think I've met every possible personality at this stage, and I loved getting to know each and every one of them.

It's now time to reclaim my house, get out the sandpaper and paint and get ready to open my doors again in March 🙂

Long time no rant, but this is a recurring theme with me.
I get Halloween (actually, I don't) and the joy of kids watching fireworks, but do we really need to push it out for the full month of October???
All breeds of animals are traumatized by this, can we not just keep it to one night instead of 31?

It's been a busy 10 days with lots of comings and goings.
Bella and Bear, the two worst office assistants, were here for 5 nights and there were no accidents this time 🙂
Next, the ever affectionate Poppy came back for 2 nights followed by cheeky Charlie for 2 nights.
It's been non stop cuddles and I now have 3 days to get ready for Archie, his first time to visit, so looking forward to that 🙂

The two most useless office assistants are back 😂
Bear, on the left, and Bella joined me this morning and settled in straight away.
Last time they were here, I ended up with a black eye so we're hoping for an uneventful visit this time 😎

The handsome gentleman with the blue collar is Murphy. He wanted to come and stay with me last year but I couldn't take him so I am absolutely delighted to have him here for the next 10 days and he even brought a friend.....Meg

As you all know, spaces on my couch are extremely limited and until now, I didn't have a suitable match to recommend you to if I couldn't accommodate you.

I've discovered Ellie in Killygordan and will be more than happy to pass on her details to anyone I have to say no to (you all know how much I hate saying no!!)
