rant incoming: where did that beautiful golden lab or retriever you got come from?

I can guarantee you that thousands of bought dogs ever year come from mamas like these, riddled in mange and fleas, their skin is on fire . They are tied up in the back of some s**t hole, with s**t food, no vet care, no interaction and no life worth living. they are just there to pump out pups to make some creep money. PLEASE research if you feel like you MUST have a puppy. if you are wanting to rescue one and want a specific kind just reach out to rescues. you may be very surprised by the amount of purebred dogs with amazing personalities that there are available. Puppy farming needs to be banned. breeding needs to be highly regulated. this kind of suffering is preventable. It makes me sick to my stomach to think of these dogs suffering tied up and when they needed medical care, dental work and attention they were simply DUMPED. 💔

Have a look at some of Raffi Kalenderian's beautiful artwork on the Saatchi Gallery, London's online site. His work is being exhibited from November 30th to February 28th as part of the Painter's Painters Exhibition of contemporary painters. Well worth a visit for anyone planning a trip to London over the Christmas period.
