The Workplace Relations Commission has ruled that Eddie Rockets Ireland Limited had breached the Equal Status Act 2000 by discriminating against a Guide Dog owner.

Irish equality legislation gives Guide Dog and Assistance Dog owners the right to access businesses and services without discrimination.

🎅🏻 Drop by our Training Centre on Model Farm Road, Cork to pick up your Christmas tree (10am-6pm daily until Dec 21) and while here get some PAWsome merchandise including our new Snuggle Buddy, cards, calendars, and tickets for our 2025 Car Raffle!

As an employer, would you like to find out more about recruiting and employing people with sight loss?

Join us on Thursday, 5 December in Sligo to learn about the funding and supports available to employers, talk to the organisations providing support, and see the latest technology that helps to level the playing field for employees who are blind or vision impaired. Keynote speaker will be barrister, Paralympian and Guide Dog owner Martin Gordon.

The event takes place in the Clayton Hotel from 12:30pm, finishing at 2pm.
