Are you looking for something new to do in 2025? Why not join us to be a Puppy Raiser to help our puppies in the first stages of their life?
This is a full-time volunteering role. Living in a Volunteer’s home is crucial to the development of the puppy. Experience with obedience training dogs would be an advantage.
You will have a designated Puppy Raising Supervisor who will provide you with the training and support necessary to educate your puppy. Your goal is to raise your puppy to become well-mannered and socialised. The training you give your puppy is an essential foundation for their future success.

We recently had some new broods join our Breeding Programme:
Pebbles was puppy raised by Niamh Walsh. Her Breeding Dog Volunteer family are Cliona and Philip Brady.
Quinny also joined us she and was puppy raised by Eimear Hourican and later by Kerry McAuliffe who went on to become her Breeding Dog Volunteer.

We recently said goodbye to three of our most treasured Ambassador Dogs in south Dublin; Vance, Pablo and Oslo.

These three very sweet pet dogs were outstanding in their ambassador roles, attending schools, sports clubs, local events, corporate events and national events.

Pablo features in our 2025 calendar, and Oslo, also the mascot for Ballyboden St Enda’s GAA club, proudly wore an All Ireland medal on his collar.

They have left pawprints on our hearts, and we will forever be grateful to them and their most wonderful owners, Patricia Mantle, Joan Gorham, and Linda Lambert, who give so kindly and generously with their time to support our work.

Pictured is Pablo with owner Joan, at Bloom in the Park during the summer is Joan and Pablo with Linda and Oslo and Ambassador Dog Ophelia. (Oslo and Ophelia are from the same litter and Pablo is their half-brother.). The last picture is Olso resting in the sun.
