Sharing on behalf of one of our friends :

“I wanted to check in to see if you have had seen any sight of my mothers dog that is missing. The dog’s name is Toby, he is very old (approx 18) and has bad vision and hearing. He is light brown and white in colour, and will be wearing a little collar.

He lives with my mother in the Shandon area, Cork City, and went missing on the night of 2nd June. I have been in touch with CRSPCA, ISPCA, local vets, dog warden, lots of lost & found groups on Facebook, and have put posters up all around the vicinity. Me and my family have clocked up hundreds of miles between us in the past 10 days trying to locate him.

So far, there was only one sighting, about a half hour after he went missing, but the message was posted on Munster lost and found the following day and we have combed the area multiple times with no further sightings.

I am attaching some photos for you. If he is located, or if you have heard anything about a missing dog of his description (eg: you might have heard or a dog knocked down, or drowned, as much as I hate to say this but my mother lives really close to the river lee), I would deeply appreciate if you can you please call me on 0851664358.

We love him dearly and are going out of our mind with worry.

Thank you so much, praying for his safe return.

Caroline.

Thanks to Lisa who very kindly took the time to offer us a very generous review and rating on google …….

“Can’t recommend Goolds high enough. Very clean and inviting practice with lovely staff but it was the high level of care given to my cat who was in for something quite serious. They took such good care of him, got him better so he could come home when I wasn’t even sure that would be possible. They kept me updated every day which really put my mind at ease. I feel very lucky I found them and won’t be going anywhere else for Logan’s care. Genuinely recommend them to everyone, your pet will be in the best hands out there by a mile! Thank you from both me and Logan 😊”.

Delighted to see our good friend Lola back home and enjoying her walkies after her visit to us this morning.

Visiting with Daddy Paddy, Lola is now fully protected for the summer months ahead having had all her booster jabs and seasonal treatments.

So there’ll be plenty more walks and treats for the Daddy’s Best Princess!

Our thanks to David for our latest 5 Star Review who we had the pleasure to welcome last week during what was a worrying moment for his family. We wish them all the very best as their little one makes a good healthy recovery.

“Not my dog but my partner and while there we watched dog and owner arrive and get dealt with in a very user friendly manner and we noticed repeat customers always a good sign they've confidence in the staff and our pooches are as much a part of the family as our kids.”

Please wash their legs if they’ve been in grass / wooded areas, more so as the rise in temperature does bring more risks to be cautious of.

If you do notice any bites, lesions, or any breakage / blemishes to their skin, please call us for the best advice : 021 451 1122.

Hopefully we will finally get to enjoy some warmer dryer weather very soon!
