☘️ Badminton CCI5* 2024 🍀

I honestly don’t have the words to describe how I’m feeling after what happened yesterday 🤩

For , Paddy and myself to have headed off to all of our first 5* event and to have come home with 2nd place at one of the most prestigious events in the world is literally the stuff dreams are made of 🥹

I am so incredibly proud to have been a small part in their success ☘️ It’s no small feat to even get to so my hat goes off to Lucy for what she has achieved this weekend 🖤

I couldn’t have asked for a better team to experience all of this for the first time 🥹 Paddy is the dream horse and spent most of his week greeting fans on the lawn in front of Badminton house as a true king should! Then to head out XC on Saturday and to deliver one of the most seamless rides I’ve ever seen was just something special 👑

I’m lost for words on how to describe this past week but I know it has been the highlight of my professional career 🥰

To thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing me along on this journey and trusting me with your boy 🥹

Transformation Tuesday 🪄

You won’t believe the before pics for these 2 handsome boys 🙈

Beautiful Paudie might be the best before and after I’ve ever posted 😍 (Swipe along for the before of both boys) Such a handsome boy and what a gentleman to deal with 🤌🏼 All topped with the fact had him immaculate for clipping today 🔥

and Paul’s beautiful 4 year old was another amazing transformation and handled the whole experience like a pro considering it was his first clip 🙏🏼

It’s so so important to give those young horses a good experience on the first clip to set them up for clipping in future 🙏🏼

A bad first experience can lead to an extremely dangerous job down the line for clippers like myself who are coming in blind to horses they don’t know 🫠

Its of top importance to tell anybody dealing with your horses exactly how they might react before they begin what they are doing 🙏🏼

Finishing on 56 points from their contributing 6 scores, Hannah Groves and Thoroughly Miss Millie recorded three 🥇s and one 🥈 on their way to winning the Equipe EI100P League. 🔥

In a close league where only 6 points separated the top 3, 2nd place went to Amelia Scott and Gelato (TIH), with 51 points from their 6 outings. Maya Constable and Duncarbery Cascade (CP) took 3rd with 50 points.

4th place went to Rory Connaughton and Independent Johnny, 5th place to Sam R Hamilton and Cahanagh Black Flyer, and 6th place to Kirstyn Reel and Glanmore Honey (decided by equality of marks rule.)

A huge congratulations to all of our amazing pony riders on an incredible season!

I’ve been massively ignoring Instagram for the past few weeks while being busy with shows 😆

Starting in the absolutely stunning with and Hush A Bye Baby, where unfortunately we didn’t have the week we had planned but my god did they put their best foot forward this past weekend in where they pulled out all the stops to come out on top in the CCI4*-L 🤩👏🏼

I’m incredibly proud and happy to play a small part in the career of these 2 queens and I am so happy to see them at the top of the podium where they deserve to be 🥇

A busy week clipping at home this week then straight onto Holland next week for 🇳🇱

There’s no rest for the wicked 🤩👏🏼

✨Lisgarvan House International✨

What a week that was 👏🏼

Firstly I want to say a massive well done to all of the team at Lisgarvan House International 👏🏼 What an unbelievably well run event. The team went above and beyond with every detail and the grounds looked amazing 🤩

I was delighted to be involved even in a small way by judging the Carr & Day & Martin ‘Best Turned Out’ for the CCI3*-L and CCI2*-L classes 😇

The winner in the CCI3*-L was none other than and Amy who did an amazing job on Fetiche Des Rouges 😍 and the winner in the CCI2*-L was with Downshire Rock 🤩 The white tail actually being white is a massive tell of somebody who has put a lot of time and effort into turning their horse out 😍

Again a massive thank you and of Carr&Day&Martin who asked me to judge and thanks to both of you for the laughs 😁🙏🏼

And finally a massive thank you to Louise O'Brien Equestrian Photography and Shane Maher for the incredible photos as always 🤩👏🏼

Home from a stunning week at .equitation 🙏🏼

What an amazing venue and to think it’s so close to Paris you can see the Eiffel Tower on route 😍

Massive thank you as always to for your complete trust in me and in what I do 😇

I always feel so blessed to be able to travel to such amazing places doing what I love with the most amazing people 🙏🏼

It is always a privilege to be a part of at any event and to work alongside such driven riders as were in Jardy last week 🇮🇪
