🧡❤️When your pet comes into our hospital for their procedure, they will always be weighed to ensure accurate medication dosage, allowed plenty of time to sniff and explore their new surroundings for the day and settled into a calm cosy bed to keep stress at bay. Once settled, a full clinical exam is performed and an individual monitoring and treatment plan is designed by our Vets & Nurses. ❤️❤️Gorgeous girl Elsa was with us last week for a laparoscopic spay performed by our vet Niamh and gold standard anaesthetic monitoring by our amazing nursing team. Here she is just a couple of hours post operatively, happy to be reunited with her teddy and her mom! Did you know that females that have undergone a laparoscopic spay versus a traditional spay experience a shorter recovery and healing time, can return to normal exercise quicker, have much smaller incision sites, have less surgical complications and experience less pain due to laparoscopy being minimally invasive (all post op pain is treated and managed appropriately- less pain relief is required for our laparoscopic patients).
