Tomorrow (Saturday), we are cancelling the 9 and 9:30am tiny tots lessons. We will evaluate how things are at 8am, and decide whether to open or not Tomorrow. Anyone who is already booked in on Hopoti will get a credit to be used later if we do cancel.

Camp dates!

July 23-25(half day camps, beginners welcome)

August 5-8 Pony Fun camp

August 19-22(horsemanship camp).

As usual, it will be riding ponies, learning care of ponies, pony games, and lots more🙂

Cost €200 per person for 4 day camps, €125 per child for 3 day half day camp.

Pre-booking is absolutely essential!

If your child has never had a riding lesson before, we strongly recommend you book them in for a lesson or two before the camp, so that there are no scary surprises for them.

10am to 3:45pm each day. Each camp is 4 days, Monday to Friday, except for the half day camps, which are 3 days Tuesday to Thursday.

Winning Grand Prix Dressage Rider and BD Accredited Coach (UKCC level 3) More than 20 years’ experience of training a wide variety of horses from traditional cobs, ponies and ex racehorses through to purpose bred sport horses.

Training/schooling tailored to meet the individual needs of you and your horse.
Available to work with riders of all ages and at all levels from nervous novices through to advanced dressage/event/showing riders.
Ideal for those looking to improve competition results or for riders wanting to feel more confident and get a better feel from their horse in everyday situations.

Individual or shared lessons can be catered for.

Previous pupils have included riders selected to ride for GB pony and young riders dressage teams, riding club and pony club dressage national champions, advanced eventers and national champion show winners.

Lee Valley riders had a super day at the Cork Summer Show. Anna Fox and Sully won the Amatuer Ridden class, Nicola Kiernan and Bobby came 4th in the show hunter class and 6th in the working hunter 110 class, and Tara O'Mahony was 6th in her showing class.

Lee Valley and OBrian's Saddlery 2024 Horsemasters League

A league with something for everyone! 2 showjumping, 2 dressage and 3 TREC type PTV(trail type obstacles) classes. You can show at individual shows, or to compete in the league to win lovely prizes you must show in at least one of each event (jumping, dressage, and PTV), plus a 4th in the event of your choice(so 4 shows total). Your highest score in each event will count towards awards.

Dates are:
March 3 Show jumping
April 7 dressage
April 21 ptv(obstacles)
May 5 show jumping
May 26 dressage
June 9 show jumping
June 23 PTV and awards

This is meant to be a fun, low stress league suitable for everyone.

Jumping classes will be crosspoles, 50, 60, 70, and 80.
PTV(obstacles) suitable for level 1 on upwards. Leadrein and beginners ok.

Dressage will include introductory, preliminary, and novice. If you wish do do a different dressage test than those offered you may, but they will not count towards the championship.
