HELLOOOOO 👋

I’ve had quite a few messages over the past couple of weeks from regulars enquiring when I’ll be back to work or if I’m back already. Sorry to disappoint but I’m still currently off on maternity and I don’t plan on starting back until next year. Although I’m flattered that some of you are patiently waiting my return, my little man is only 12 weeks old, I want to soak up as much precious time with him before starting back 🤍

Hope all of you & your doggies are keeping good (and sticking to regular grooming apps 🤪). I don’t want any full shave offs when I start back 🫣

Hi all 👋

As all of my regular customers know already, I’m now on maternity leave.

I won’t be active on this page as of today so therefore no messages will be responded too.

Thank you to all my amazing regulars who had bump and I absolutely spoilt the past few months. It was definitely emotional saying my goodbyes but I can’t wait to enjoy my time of now ❤️

He’s an Irish water spaniel 💦, you wouldn’t see very many around the town but OMG he’s a beauty 😍

Took him a while to warm to me tbh but near the end he was full of kisses 😆

🎄✨Very important Christmas appointment Info 🎄✨

As you are all aware Christmas is our busiest time of year just like many other businesses. I haven’t asked for deposits this year as everyone booked in for December are all long term regulars. Please be aware that if you can’t make your appointment for whatever reason, there is no wiggle room to get you in before Christmas, if you miss your appointment you’ll have to wait until January to get rebooked.

- I can’t express enough how important it is to be on time for your appointment. We all know how busy the roads are on a daily basis never mind Christmas, you need to give more than enough time for your journey. I’m already working overtime and doubling up everyday to accommodate everyone so please be respectful and be on time.

- I will have a helper in on December. This means there will be more dogs in the salon at the one time than usual. It won’t be a one to one service like normal. It’ll be a lot busier than usual with more distractions, therefore some dogs may take a little longer than usual if they’re reactive.

- Please make sure you bring cash. I won’t be accepting any PayPal’s or bank transfers

- If someone is dropping your dog off on your behalf, you need to make sure they know exactly where their going and to be on time. I won’t have time to run outside.

- Most importantly, if you haven’t been maintaining your dogs coat as often as you normally have with it being a busy time of year, I won’t be standing brushing out knots. It’s your responsibility to stay on top of them.

💥 CHRISTMAS JOB 💥

December is dog groomers busiest month. I need someone to help me survive it 😅. I’m on the hunt for a little Christmas helper. This position is for the month of December only! You need to be 100% available with no other commitments especially from 13th - 22nd December as I’ve 100 dogs booked in on these days alone. You will be required to deshed, bath, dry & brush out all breeds. Small - Large.

Somebody with experience working with dogs or being a bather before would be preferred although it’s not essential. I’ll be able to train you at the end of this month (November) if necessary before the madness begins.

⚠️ Please don’t think you’ll get to play with puppies and dogs all day, this is certainly not the case! It’s a tough job so bare that in mind before you put yourself forward! ⚠️

Meet my new wee mucker, John Joe - a mini 🐩 (what an original wee name eh 😆)

This wee man has had his 2 puppy introductions ☑️ and will be getting his first big boy groom on his next visit 😁

🚨So on that note, let’s talk Puppies 🚨

It’s so so important to introduce your puppy to the grooming world as soon as they have all their vaccinations 💉

Puppies are difficult, very cute but difficult 😅 through no fault of their own but they are a puppy at the end of the day so you can’t expect them to stand perfectly and cooperate 100% on their 1st, 2nd or even 3rd visit because they need to adapt and learn. A lot of consistency with regular appointments and patience will go a long way & you as their owner need to put in the work too at home - it’s not all just the groomers responsibly 😊

Find a groomer, get your pup booked in, stick with them so your dog and your groomer start to form a wee bond of trust and watch the 🪄 happen! The sooner you get your pup familiar with getting groomed, the sooner your life and your groomers life becomes that little bit easier 🤭
