Ear mites are one of the many causes of ear scratching in our pets 🐶🐱
These microscopic parasites live in the ear canal and breed like mad, quickly multiplying to their thousands 🤮 They because incredibly irritating and painful for our pets, causing them to scratch and scratch and scratch 🙈 All this scratching can then cause further damage to the ear and ear canal 👂
Regular parasite treatments can prevent and kill these mites to prevent them setting up home in you pets ears 🏡 If there is a big infestation of them, your pet will likely need further treatment like a deep ear clean, medicated ear drops or pain relief 🙈

This is our brand new multi parameter anaesthetic monitoring machine 🩺👩🏻⚕️ This machine aids our nurses in making sure anaesthetic are going smoothly and keeping an eye on all aspects of your pet! It keeps track of pulse rate, blood oxygen level, respiration rate, temperature, as well as ECG and blood pressure and more🩸

Lambing Shed @ Bluestack Vets
🐑🐑🐏Our new lambing shed coming on nicely at Bluestack Veterinary Clinic, in preparation for lambing season. Hot water, lights and lambing table fitted next week to complete the maternity ward🐏🐑🐏
Due to the vast size of the hills of Donegal which we cover on call for farmers, we thought in the event of lambing emergencies it may be quicker for the farmer to come to our purpose build lambing shed in Donegal Town.
Due to the nature of lambing season, its common for a number of lambing emergencies to come in at the same time, leaving the on call vet stretched covering the large geographical area and slower than desired response time for the farmer, especially if a caesarean section needs to be carried out💪🐑
Our vets will be able to get through any lambing problems more efficiently at the clinic and therefore quicker response time for farmers to help deliver the problem lambing especially at night time 👊🙌
