Important update: I am not taking any more commission before December 2024.
I need to just focus on what’s in the freezers now.

Few changes when I’ll re-open for commission:
- I will only take waterfowl in a limited number and waterfowl only (ducks and geese) … no gamebird, bird of prey or others. Only waterfowl.
- I will not ship oversea anymore. This has just become too time consuming and too expensive

Anyone looking to have anything else done, please contact the Taxidermy Association of Ireland and they will give you contacts for who’s best to take your animals in.

I want to thanks everyone for their support and patience over the last few years.

I’m working diligently to get work out of the door, so again thanks for your patience.

I have had the privilege to handle some really cool bird this year but this one top the list.
Beautiful Brewer’s (gadwall x mallard). Wild hybrid are out there, keep your eyes peeled when the birds get in colour … there has to be more out there …
NB: light makes the bill neon yellow but it’s not 😅

Juvenile curlew. This bird was part of a hatching program and was released at 36-38 weeks if I remember well.
Unfortunately he was caught by a bird of prey about 15 minutes after being released.
They got it back but it died the next day.

Goshawk chasing a teal … (Goshawk is a falconry bird, close ring + A10).
Originally planned for outside pictures but the good old Irish weather had other plans 😅

Eiders, Scoters and Goldeneyes from Denmark (NB Eiders and Scoters are not a legal quarry in Ireland). Birds came as salted skins.

Longtail drake … Bird was a salted skin from Iceland (NB longtail is not a quarry in Ireland).
Long time in the making. Bird skin was received 1+ year ago, mounted in April and only finished over the last month and a half.
Custom book case made by myself too and that is the only one I’ll ever make 😅
