Poor Darcy ate something she shouldn't have! 🫣

She ate some Neurofen tablets but luckily her parents caught her in the act and brought her straight to us so our Vet Niall could make her sick!

Here she is feeling a bit sorry for herself helping Niall write up her notes (she made sure to add a note to her file saying more treats at every visit!!)🥰

It's nearly that time of year again where all the ghosts and ghouls are ready to come out to play! 👻

Fireworks season starts long before Halloween and for some pets this can be a stressful time.

Here are some tips to help support your pet during firework season 🎆:

Do: 
✅Close curtains and windows to block noises and bright flashes
✅ Turn on the radio or television for some normal background noise
✅Reassure your pet if they seek attention, without making a big fuss
✅Allow them to hide in their bed or favorite place if they choose to 
✅Ensure your pets microchip details are up to date, incase they got frightened and escape

Don't: 
❌Bring dogs out for walks during fireworks 
❌Let cats outside during fireworks 
❌Give out to your pet if they are scared and have a toilet accident during this time

Mika visited today for her monthly pain relief injection. She was in great form, fresh from the groomers with a beautiful new hair cut! 🤩
She'll now have pep in her step to match her voluminous blowdry!💈

The weather can't seem to make up it's mind these days! ☀️😎🌦️

Despite the rain showers it is still very warm out, even in the early mornings so staff pet Jake made sure too cool off this morning on his walk. 

Remember these tips to help our pets cope in the heat while we have our few days of summer! 

🌡️Our pets can find it much harder to cope in the heat as they can't sweat to cool down! Provide them with a cool, shaded room where they can cool off! 

🐾Only walk your dog early in the morning or late in the evening when the temperature is low and there is no hot sun! If in doubt, don't walk them!  

💧Make sure your pet has access to fresh water at all times!
