Dublin Dog Hub Dublin Dog Hub provides dog shelter services in Dublin and surrounding areas.

We are currently working with Dublin
City Council's Animal Welfare Unit to provide a safe, secure and comfortable facility where we strive to reunite lost dogs with their owners and to find new homes for dogs who need them. All queries including requests to visit should be directed to Dublin City Council Animal Welfare Unit. All queries from rescue groups should also be directed to Dublin City Cou

โœจ Introducing the coolest little pupper with the most adorable ears - ๐‘ซ๐’๐’–๐’ˆ ๐Ÿฉต ๐Ÿพ Doug is an approx 6 month old staffy x , who came into us as a stray & was sadly not reclaimed ๐Ÿฅบ

He has been the most perfect little boy to have in our care, even at his young age ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ Doug is such a friendly guy, he just wants to be close to you & get all the cuddles ๐Ÿฅฐ He is super playful too , loves playing with his squeaky toys & tennis balls โ€ฆ his favourite is his teddy ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ

Doug is great to walk on the lead, he doesnโ€™t pull & is extremely friendly with other dogs .. he just wants to play ๐Ÿถ ๐Ÿฅฐ He is a gentle boy & has basic training, however due to his age he will need further input to make him the most obedient boy ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ He is food driven which helps too ๐Ÿฆด

Doug is an all round super little doggo, he is so loving & friendly, you canโ€™t help but not fall in love with him โ™ฅ๏ธ He adores bum scratchies , so much he nearly falls over when heโ€™s getting them ๐Ÿคฃ This little bat eared cutie is far too young to be already searching for his forever home, heโ€™s still only a baby himself ๐Ÿ˜ข We know Doug will grow up to be the most loyal, loving best friend you have ever wanted, and we can lie - Heโ€™ll have the coolest ears in the neighbourhood too ๐Ÿฆ‡ ๐Ÿฉต ๐Ÿพ

โœจ ๐‘ฏ๐’‚๐’‘๐’‘๐’š ๐‘ญ๐’๐’“๐’†๐’—๐’†๐’“ ๐‘ฏ๐’๐’Ž๐’† ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’™ (formerly Eamon) ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿพ Our lovely little fluffy pocket rocket Max has landed on all 4 paws & hit the jackpot with his new forever family ๐Ÿฅฐ

Max was brought into us by the Gardai after being found straying in Dublin City, despite weeks of searching nobody came forward to claim him ๐Ÿ˜ข Max was such a superstar the whole time he was in our care, he was such a friendly, loving boy โ€ฆ but he was finding it so difficult trying to understand kennel life & so stressed ๐Ÿ˜”

Our little ball of barky fluff loved to be the centre of attention, he just thrived off of it ๐Ÿฅฐ He loved his grooms (it was a workout ๐Ÿฅต) & little toddles down the lane to see the horses โ€ฆ his favourite part of his walk - They seemed to calm him down as they nuzzled him, speaking their own language, which was so gorgeous to see ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ

Sadly nobody enquired about Max , which we couldnโ€™t understand as he was such a beauty.. we felt so much for him, he wanted to find his people ๐Ÿ’” One afternoon the lovely Adrian & Nicola swung by the Hub , they locked eyes on Max & instantly asked if they could take him outโ€ฆ.we have never seen him as calm when he met them, he was like a different dog ๐Ÿฅฐ When they didnโ€™t come back for quite some time we secretly hoped that meant it went well ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿพ

Roll on a few weeks later & Max is living his best life in the countryside with his amazing new forever family โ™ฅ๏ธ Exactly what the boy neededโ€ฆ green open fields, forest walks & a whole lot of love ๐Ÿฅฐ We couldnโ€™t have picked a better forever home for him if we tried ๐Ÿพ We hear Max is a new favourite amongst the extended family & his favourite thing to do is run freely on hikes through the forest at the weekends, sniffing away until his heart is content โ™ฅ๏ธ What more could he ask for ?

We miss your fluffy boisterous face Max , but you are finally free with the rolling green fields at your feet โ€ฆ can you believe it ? Never stop being the amazing boy that you are ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿพ

This poor girl came into us in a little bit of a state, she also looked to have had pups recently enough ๐Ÿ˜ข She is an absolute beauty through & through. From the get go she has been so gentle , so loving โ€ฆ she just wants you to love her & tell her what a good girl she is ๐Ÿ’•

Sheโ€™s a playful girl & adores playing with her little teddy ๐Ÿฆ† She is mannerly, can sit & takes the treats out of your hand in the most mannerly way. She is great to walk on the lead & non reactive with other dogs , sheโ€™s just inquisitive & wants to play ๐Ÿถ

Willow really has the full package & doesnโ€™t appear to have had the best start in life ๐Ÿ˜” Her eyes literally speak to you , we wish she could talk โ€ฆ she has a story to tell us - But this hasnโ€™t changed her beautiful , gentle soul one bit ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ

Anyone would be lucky to call Willow their own, she will make the most loving, loyal best friend who canโ€™t wait to snuggle up on the sofa with you for belly rubs & be treated like the princess she is ๐Ÿ‘‘ ๐Ÿฉท ๐Ÿพ

Coco has been so much fun to have in our care, he really is as happy as he looks in his photos ๐Ÿ“ธ ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ He is the friendliest little chap & soon makes friends with everyone he meets ๐Ÿฅฐ Despite his slightly older age, he is still as playful as ever โ€ฆ show him a ๐ŸŽพ or squeaky toy & he is happy out chasing it around the place entertaining himself ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Coco is great to walk on the lead, doesnโ€™t pull & gets on great with other dogs. He could re-home with sibling dogs pending successful meet & greet ๐Ÿพ He also gets on great with children, as per his previous owners - Added bonus ๐Ÿคฉ

Coco really is a sweet little chap with so much love to give.. he has a heart of gold ๐Ÿ’› He thrives on being close to you & loves his little bum & belly scratchie time ๐Ÿฅฐ Coco would make a fabulous new addition to any forever family dynamic - We know he would slot in like heโ€™s always been part of the furniture & reward you with endless fun, laughter & forever kissesโ€ฆ. What more could you ask for ?? ๐Ÿฉต ๐Ÿพ

When Ricky came into our care, we were certain somebody would come looking for him - He was such a gorgeous boy in every way ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ The social butterfly of the Hub, he soon became a favourite amongst all of the volunteers ๐Ÿฅฐ

Rickyโ€™s obsession with tennis balls was something else ๐Ÿคฃ All he wanted to do was play fetch all day long โ€ฆand with manners to burn he would drop the ball in your lap to throw again ๐Ÿฅน He loved being around you, snuggling up for cuddles & face rubs ..he was a true gem ๐Ÿ’Ž

Sadly the curse of the black dog hit โ€ฆnobody came to meet him โ˜น๏ธ Any visitors to the Hub would comment that he was a lovely boy, give him a pat & kept walking โ€ฆour hearts were broken for him, nobody seemed to see the amazing boy that we did ๐Ÿ˜ข

No matter the amount of cute, mannerly, playful videos we posted โ€ฆRicky still waited day in, day out for his perfect forever people to come ๐Ÿฅบ One evening we received an application for a dog that was already booked, the type was nearly a match so we invited them up the following morning to see if they would fall in love with Ricky๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿพ

They say everything happens for a reason โ€ฆand we canโ€™t say weโ€™d argue with that - When the lovely Patricia & Leah arrived to meet Ricky, they instantly burst out crying when he was brought out to them๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅฐ He looked up at them โ€ฆso hopeful, wagging his little tail & eyes beaming with love โ€ฆit was like he knew ๐Ÿ˜ญ When they returned from their walk, the first question was โ€œWhen can we take him home ?โ€œ โ€ฆ and just like that , Ricky found his forever people ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿพ

Ricky - You were such a superstar & we were so lucky to have played a part in finding you the most perfect forever home ๐Ÿฅฐ We miss your little face beaming up at us in the morning, patiently waiting for us to throw the ball one last time & the gorgeous gentle cuddles you gave. Thor is the most gorgeous little guy โ€ฆ he is full of so much fun & has the biggest heart ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ He has been such an easy boy to have in our care, never given us an ounce of bother ๐Ÿฅฐ He loves playing ballโ€ฆ he even makes himself dizzy running around after it ๐ŸŽพ ๐Ÿคฃ

Thor is great to walk on the lead & loves meeting other dogs โ€ฆ he could re-home with sibling dogs pending successful meet & greet ๐Ÿถ He is such a mannerly chap & so gentle, he has basic training but as he is young has the scope to learn so much more โ€ฆheโ€™s a clever little lad ๐Ÿค“

Thor adores attention โ€ฆ he loves creeping onto your lap, giving you kisses & watching the world go by ๐Ÿฅฐ He really is the sweetest boy - Heโ€™s recently gotten cute & realised that if he rolls over โ€ฆ he gets belly rubs .. which he soon falls asleep to โ™ฅ๏ธ

Thor is an absolute catch in every way, we are obsessed with him ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ He will make the best new family friendโ€ฆ.you just canโ€™t help but love the cheeky pup ๐Ÿฅฐ Thor deserves a fresh start in his young lifeโ€ฆ a new loving family, someone to play ball with, crawl onto their laps for cuddles & shower them with kisses forever - We know this special boy will be your new best friend ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿพ
