All on sand with a great variety of fences.

We’re excited to introduce our second and final sponsored rider, Jo Andrews! 🎉

Jo’s journey with horses began at her family’s trekking centre in the UK, and she has since built an impressive career under the guidance of top professionals, including Olympic dressage rider Richard Davison. From representing GB at the European 3* Eventing Championships (twice!) to competing in multiple international 4* events, to reaching Prix St Georges in dressage with her home-bred mare, Blue, Jo’s accomplishments speak for themselves ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Now, she’s bringing along her talented young horse, Castleview King (Sprout), with plans for an exciting future in eventing and showjumping. We’re proud to support Jo and Sprout on this journey!

🌟 **Exciting Announcement!** 🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome our newest sponsored rider, Niamh O’Connor Barry, to the Institute of Equine Physiotherapy team!

With a passion for horses that started at just 3 years old, Niamh began her journey in the Louth Hunt Pony Club. Over the years, she’s competed up to the 1.40m level, with standout achievements such as winning the 148 Grand Prix at Tullamore and securing victory in an RDS Junior Equitation Qualifier.

This season alone, Niamh has taken home the 5yo Championship at CSI2* Mullingar, placed 6th in the GAIN National Grand Prix at Flavours of Fingal, and claimed the title of overall leading Pro Am in the TRM Spring Tour. Her chosen partner, Drumiller Vegas—a 9yo gelding by Cardento—has been carefully produced by Niamh from a 4yo with aspirations to reach Premier GP level.

We’re excited to support Niamh and Drumiller Vegas on their journey, enhancing their performance and aiding in post-competition recovery.

Fun fact: Niamh spent her college summers grooming for top Irish showjumpers, with the highlight being the chance to ride Olympic horse Going Global in the warm-up at the Dublin Horse Show.

Following on from my last post, I am thrilled to announce that ‘Dublin Veterinary Physiotherapy’ is now ‘The Institute of Equine Physiotherapy’ 🐴✨

Our focus is now exclusively on equine physiotherapy. At The Institute of Equine Physiotherapy our mission is to enhance the health, performance, and well-being of horses through expert physiotherapy and rehabilitation services. We are dedicated to providing individualised, evidence-based treatments that address the unique needs of each horse, fostering recovery, preventing injury, and promoting peak physical condition. Our commitment to excellence, compassionate care and continuous learning ensures that both horses and their owners receive the highest standard of support and education, contributing to the overall success and harmony of the equine community.

Stay tuned for upcoming courses in equine physiotherapy, including CPD opportunities for current professionals and specialised courses for horse owners! 🎓🐎
