Dublin County Dog Shelter, based within the Hollygrove Kennels on Lyons Road, Newcastle, Dublin 22, are appealing to the public to consider adopting a dog as they find themselves with 50+ dogs in their care, and no more kennel space.

This issue was only emphasised last week when the shelter saw only two scheduled visits, with one of these being cancelled, and they had no weekend meet and greets for the dogs in their care.

If you've been thinking of adopting a dog, or know someone who has, book an appointment with Dublin County Dog Shelter to meet one of the gorgeous dogs currently residing there❤️

Friday 22nd December: deliveries of orders only. Shop open from 7am-3pm

Saturday 23rd December: Shop open from 9am-2pm

24th, 25th, 26th, 27th December - Closed

Thursday 28th December: online orders placed by 12pm will be sent out for next day delivery. Shop open 5am-3pm

**HALLOWEEN COMPETITION**

Good morning guys, hope you are all well. To kick off the Halloween season we are running a competition.

We are giving two people the chance of winning a bottle of h**p heroes CBD, as we know this time of year can unfortunately be stressful for dogs because of all the fireworks.

UPDATE: Saoirse has been found safe and well

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 14-year-old Saoirse Byrne who is missing from her home in Clondalkin since Monday, 18th September 2023.

Saoirse is described as 5 foot 2 inches in height, of slim build, brown eyes and long brown hair with blonde highlights.
When last seen, Saoirse was wearing a black jacket, mint green leggings and a peach t-shirt.

Saoirse's family are concerned for her wellbeing and have sought Garda assistance in locating her.

Anyone with any information on Saoirse’s whereabouts is asked to contact Ronanstown Garda Station on 01 666 7700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.

Dear customer,

Unfortunately, due to a massive increase in our latest electricity bill we have no option but to increase the price of our FROZEN products effective Thursday @ 12pm (the cut off for orders placed this week). Chubs will have to increase by 20c in price, 1kg frozen treats and organs will increase by 50c and 5kg minces will rise by €1.

This is solely an energy related increase so when electricity prices drop we will reduce our prices accordingly.

All dried foods, treats and toys are not affected by this increase.

We are attaching copies of our last two bills to show you our increase.

Again we are very very sorry for the inconvenience and thank you all for your continued support.

Hey guys,

Just a message to say thank you to everyone for contributing to our donation to Husky Rescue Ireland for International Dogs day!

With your help we raised €120 for husky rescue which is amazing and I know they will be very happy with that!

A massive HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DOGS DAY to all our furry friends, make sure and give them an extra cuddle from us!
