Hi everyone, we need your help.

A client of ours phoned this morning to say his 11-year old terrier Millie has been missing from the Sorrento Road, Dalkey area since Friday evening. Millie is fawn in colour and is microchipped. He has no photos of her, but she may look like she has a very narrow tail and short backside.

Millie is absolutely cherished by her owner. Please contact the clinic if you may have any information. Thank you.

Hi everyone!

Halloween is just 3 days away. Here are a few things you can do to help your pets stay calm with the oncoming events.

1) It's ideal that we keep our pets inside as much as possible. Dogs and outdoor cats often go missing at this time of year from fright and flight, they'll be grateful to be inside where it's warm and dry in your company. Stay close to them whenever they ask for comfort. Our company is their security.

2) Have the TV on to camouflage the noise outside. It's also a good idea to set up a space inside the house and fill it with all their favourite things i.e. foods, treats & toys. This can keep them distracted and help them feel safe surrounded by things that are positive to them.

3) Keep calm yourself! Our pets observe and mirror our reaction to stimuli, we can help them cope by showing them there is nothing to fear.

If you find your furry friends struggling over the next few days, our phone lines and Facebook messages will be active 24/7 to help ease your worries.
