๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ At the Burns Supper Charity fundraiser held on Saturday 25th January 2025 we raised an amazing amount โ‚ฌ11,700 which was split between Cian's Kennels and NRH Foundation, Creative Arts Therapy Service.
We'd like to thank many people, Tim Rice for his large donation linked with 'Staff at Fineos'.
The generous raffle prizes and a very special auction prize, courtesy of Hugh Farrington
Becky O'Connor (NRH) and Emma Plant (Cian's Kennels) thank you for informing everyone about the wonderful work of each charity.
The Royal Marine was a great venue for our event which was enjoyed by all.

I'm delighted to have passed after 4 months of regular Zoom sessions, reactivity clinics, tasks (aka homework), videos, research, and feedback. What a brilliant course with really helpful information. I learned loads from live cases and we then had to put it into practice. Certainly had a laugh putting together some videos, you'll know the one I mean Helen, Lee & Adrienne! A massive thank you for all your organising, teaching and assessing. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
Looking forward to meeting Adrienne Wisok next year at the Practical Reactivity Course. ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

It is so sad, when we had to say goodbye to two very special doggies. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜ข
Jasmin aka Jaz was 17 years old and was still able for her walks in our senior group. She was a dog with 9 lives. I remember her as a puppy, full of character. It's been amazing to have her as part of the HH gang for so long. Farewell Jaz, we will all miss you. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค
Pepe was the most adorable chocolate lab, he loved humans and all dogs! Always at the door ready and waiting for you, he enjoyed his walks either by the sea or in the forest. He certainly lived life to the max, definitely a glass half full dog. I was lucky to have him as one of my first puppies I trained over 10 years ago. We will miss you. ๐ŸคŽ

Yuji's mum contacted me a few months ago to see what we could do to help with his reactivity. So we started our reactivity programme, which will be continued over a long period of time, there's no quick fixes! However, I'm delighted to see Yuji's positive progress, and mum has been doing a great job practising the techniques shown so that Yuji can have calm, relaxing walks. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Delighted to help Jen and her puppy Sadbh. It was great to see a real improvement for Jen to be able to take Sadbh out and about without her pulling or the lead getting caught up.

Lots of different training with these doggies. From toilet training, leash walking, reactivity, barking, introduction of a young pup around an older dog & one dog that's not happy around men.
Some require a few sessions so we can monitor their progress, it takes time and patience.

A lovely mix of recent 121 puppy training, all requiring different needs. ๐Ÿพ

Annie gets very excited to meet anyone coming in the door, so we practiced lots of sitting, building on impulse control and no jumping. ๐Ÿฅณ

Simba was very happy to go into his crate after our session for a long snooze. It's a step by step process as he needs to be safe when the family need to go out, just for a short while at the moment. He loves going in now. ๐Ÿ˜ด

Remi was a superstar with his recall but as he's still a young pup it's not reliable so it was best to have him on a longline (not an extendable lead) so mum can practice Recall with him under control. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Sadbh practiced her loose lead walking which was really important as we don't want her pulling mum anymore in the wheelchair. ๐Ÿ˜‡

Looking forward to our next session, keep up the great work.
