Following on from our post last month which highlighted the negative impact of flea treatments on biodiversity, here’s more information on how these chemicals are causing damage to our natural world.

Flea treatments contain insecticides banned for agricultural use and are ending up in the nests of songbirds and killing chicks, a new study has found.

✨Puppy Grooming Info✨
All puppies regardless of breed, shape or size should go to the groomers after their vaccinations! This will help set them up for any future grooms. Best time to do this is 2 weeks after their last vaccines. When you get your new puppy, book them in with your groomer as soon as possible to get them set up for a lifetime of fun grooms 🐾

Puppy grooms include
✨ Wash and Gradual blow dry
✨Nail Trimming & Paw Care
✨Face Trimming with introduction to grooming tools
✨ Some puppies will get a full body trim if needed to introduce them to the full grooming process
✨All puppies also get a ‘rest time’ & plenty of cuddles

💙 Baby Clancy on route 💙

Hi everyone! As some of you may know already, I am currently pregnant and expecting a little boy to join our family in early July this year. My husband and I are super excited as it’s the first baby on either side of the family.

However, this does mean I will be closing down for a couple of months while I am on maternity leave. I am currently working away and plan to continue to do so until the end of May.

I will be gathering a few alternative groomers numbers which I will share with you all closer to the time so that you can have someone to cover me while I’m gone with my baba. They will hopefully be in the surrounding areas.

I will be returning in early 2026 on a part time basis and to get back to full time when it’s possible.

Thank you to everyone so far for the congratulations and understanding. All of my customers doggies mean so much to me and I do hope you’ll all return to me when I come back from maternity leave 💙🐩

When I return I will stick it on social media to update you all. Until then I am grooming as normal until the planned end date of the 30th of May and will continue to provide you with grooms for your dogs.

Thanks again for everyone being so understanding. I’m so excited for this new chapter. Hopefully have little helper in a couple years down the line 🤣

Our own girl, Indie, which many of you have met over the years, unfortunately had to cross over the rainbow bridge yesterday afternoon. She just turned 15 on Wednesday 18th December which is a fantastic age for standard poodles. We are absolutely devastated of her loss she was the QUEEN of the house. The absolute best dog a family could ask for. The poodle that started the obsession, the poodle who started our dog showing hobby, the dog that improved our poodle trims. Indie girl we will miss you so so much. Her time on earth has ended but she is now reunited with our cat Sparkle and our first family dog, Beth. The house will never be the same again without you girly. We love you. Rest in peace Indie 💔💔🪽🪽

Holly the Cavashon. Smiling and all ready for Santa paws. Busy busy week this week so please try be on time for appointments. Dogs will be turned away if any later than 20 mins to your appointment as this eats into time for others. Please also collect within a reasonable timeframe. I’ll always text you 15 mins prior to your dog being ready. Allow for traffic as it’s bonkers out there.
