Today we had a super early 5am start for a 15 hour day to help teach the Canine First Aid course in Errigal College with our buddies in AniEd but on the way home we decided to take a detour to Donegal Donkey Sanctuary and I was NOT disappointed!!! 🥰

This is without a doubt the best rescue I have ever had the pleasure to come across, I am absolutely in love! Danny is the most welcoming host and these beautiful rescue donkeys are now living their very best lives. I even got to cuddle with baby Rose!

Here's to more projects with this amazing team in the future. 🤞

Last weekend we said goodbye to our resident old man, African Pygmy Hedgehog, Sonic. This happy boy had sadly developed cataracts and a tumor and was too old to operate on, and as soon as he started to decline in condition it was time to send him off with a belly full of cooked chicken and delicious wormies!

Thank you to Village Vets for these gorgeous little keepsakes.

Rehoming alert.

Slash and Axl are two, young, sibling guinea pigs who came from a very sad hoarding case through the amazing team at Miraclehill micro sanctuary

They arrived with nasty skin infections that cleared up wonderfully and these two cuties are now looking for their forever home together! They are shy boys, so their new owners will have to be aware that they will require some time, patience and very gentle handling for them to be able to cope in scary new environments.
