Rehoming alert.

Slash and Axl are two, young, sibling guinea pigs who came from a very sad hoarding case through the amazing team at . They arrived with nasty skin infections that cleared up wonderfully and these two cuties are now looking for their forever home together! They really struggle with new people and are very worried, so their new owners will have to be aware that they will require a lot of time, patience and very gentle handling for them to be able to cope in scary new environments.

On Monday we said a very sad goodbye to one of our best buddies, Taz!

After battling a short illness his human made the very brave decision to let him go peacefully before he became very unwell, and we got to celebrate his love and life with one last, fun filled walk with all of the crew to one of his favourite spots. We chased each other, he drank from the smelly canal, sniffed all the stinky smells in the grass and munched on tasty sausage rolls from the local garage before sharing the softest, squishy, goodbye head kisses.

Sweet dreams gorgeous boy, you will be hugely missed! 🌈🐾

Applications are now open for this adorable, young, male piggie who came all the way from a huge surrender case to the amazing Miraclehill micro sanctuary in Kerry. His minor skin condition has been treated and he is now in flying form and ready to find his forever home!

Are you missing a gorgeous, Red Rumped parrot?

This little one was found straying for a couple of days in Rialto before two lovely locals got in touch via Kildare Wildlife Rescue looking for help in trying to catch him! jumped into action and brought him here for foster!

Nobody has reported this little one as missing so they will do their time here on foster before we look for a private rehoming.

Proof of ownership required!!!

When you really hoped you would never have to use your training! Today has been bonkers since 8am, taking reports of oiled birds every five minutes, organing our small but mighty team of volunteers, flying through dog walks and then straight out to join the rescue mission. I know I said I'd love a day at the beach, but this isn't what I had in mind. 🙈 Hiking beaches in hazmat suits is sweaty 🤣
