On International Dog Day we celebrate the dogs who changed our lives! This crazy old bat has been by my side for fourteen years, and hopefully we still have more fun to come.

Fourteen years of adventures, soil, trails and sand beneath our feet, learning and exploring together, hanging out in forests, camping beneath the stars, wolf howling into the night sky, splashing in muddy ditches, curling up on the couch, making new friends, saying goodbye to old ones, moving houses, studying new courses, playing, digging holes, playing with nephews...

Although she has gotten slower in the last while, she remains the sassy, opinionated sweetheart that arrived at eight weeks old from Donegal and I wouldn't change any of it!

Photos from a wonderful morning back in May with the amazing SmileyBoy Photography in the Phoenix Park, one of our favourite spots where we have spent so much time adventuring, attending events and fun runs and playing with friends!

Some very limited dog walking places are now available in the 12th Lock and Castleknock village area starting next week. We work on appropriate socialisation, back to school basic manners practice and keeping your dog exercised and happy when you can't be there.

Our dogs are super susceptible to heat stroke in hot weather so as always, in the interest of health and safety, if you want to cancel your dogs walks due to the heat, don't hesitate to get in touch as early as possible.

With this in mind, during hot spells, we will decide as we go if it is too hot for your dogs and will likely change from their usual walks to shorter, local p*e breaks in the shade etc if they still need to get out of apartments to toilet.
