Bailey the Border Collie had her shedding treatment today, she had alot of dead undercoat that needed to come out. First I gave her a bath in deshedding shampoo, then blasted all of her dead undercoat out and then used a deshedding rake. Halloween can be a scary time for dogs from fireworks going off, the door bell ringing more than usual and strange people dressed up in unusual outfits. Here are a few tips to keep them safe this Halloween 🎃 * walk your dogs early before the fireworks * keep your dogs inside, if you let them out make sure all gates and fences are secure. * Ensure your dog has a microchip * prepare treats like liki mats or stuffed kongs to keep them busy. * Create a safe place for them to hide if they get scared like a covered crate. * Calming products like thunder shirts, adaptil plug ins, rescue remedy sprays and CBD oil all help with anxiety. Have fun this Halloween & stay safe 🎃👻
