We had a very unusual start to our day this morning when a very kind bus driver dropped 4 kittens into us. These guys were born this morning on a bus. Sadly, they had been abandoned by their mother. They were cold and unmoving. Luckily, once they arrived here to the clinic, the nursing team got to work straight away to heat these little guys up and get them some vital kitten milk.🫶🏼❤️🔥
Unfortunately, despite the team’s tireless efforts, we lost one kitten.😿
However, the remaining three are fighting fit this evening, and doing much better!! Make sure you turn the sound on to hear they’re adorable little squeaks!!🔈🔈
As these kittens are so young, they need constant care and feeding. Going into the long weekend, our nurses will be taking it in turns to care for these little guys. They’ll be dedicating long nights and cancelling bank holiday plans to care for them. If it wasn’t for the quick thinking and commitment of our nurses, we’d hate to think what could have happened to these cuties. 🥰🫶🏼💖
And the winner of our Easter Competition is……
Sarah Hynes!! Sarah guessed 175, which was just 1 short of the correct count 176 eggs!! 🐣🥳
Hard luck to all those who entered! As always we were overwhelmed with everyone’s amazing guesses! This definitely isn’t our last competition so make sure to follow us so you don’t miss our next one! 🥰🫶🏼

Another video of the gorgeous quad lambs, that Vet Colm helped yesterday! Have a look at their proud (but tired) mother!
Quads against the odds!🤞🏼🐑
Have a look at these quad lambs born only yesterday morning, with the help of our Vet Colm! On average ewes birth 1-2 lambs. The chances of having quad lambs is 500-1, and the chances of them all surviving is even less. Have a look at this video to see just how strong and healthy these guys are. 🐑
Our vet Philip McManus’ acceptance speech last night after winning the ITBA Western Region Contribution to the Industry Award 2023. Congratulations again Philip!
The time has finally come to announce our July Photo Competition winner…
Congratulations to Nikki and her gorgeous boy Bobby!! Bobby is a rescue from Galway SPCA and has found his forever home with Nikki. 🎊🐶❤️
All the team at the clinic cannot thank you all enough for your entries. We were inundated with so many amazing photos and loved looking at all your pets at their best. It was so so difficult to pick a winner as your photos had so much personality and were taken with such love! ❤️📸
Again, words cannot thank you all enough and we cannot wait to do something like this again in the future! ❤️🥰
🔊Listen to those squeaks!🔊
You’ll want full volume for this one! Pushin, an 8 week old kitten, visited us recently for her first vaccination. She was such a friendly little baby and made sure we knew she was there with her adorable little squeaks. She was just as excited to meet us as we were her! 🐈👋🏻
