Another day, another Collie, abandoned to her fate by some heartless individual.💔

Freya was found dumped along with two young puppies, alone and terrified in a strange environment, probably their first time away from the farm, their first time in a car, and for all we know, their first time out of the dark & dirty shed that they called home. 🥺

We know they were dumped as their coats are matted with animal dung, indicating long days & nights in a stable or shed, and they were all absolutely terrified of everyone and everything!

We think Freya might be the mother, or an older sibling of the two puppies, which sadly indicates an unregulated situation which may provide more pups in the months to come. 🥺

Luckily these puppies are being minded by the kind people that found them, and the warden brought Freya straight out to us earlier on today. Right now, we are taking things very slow, giving Freya time to adjust to her new surroundings and process all that has happened. This poor girl is still traumatised, but hopefully in time we can build up her trust in humans and replace the nasty baling twine around her neck with a lovely soft collar from where her new bright & shiny name tag will hang.🐾
