Tomorrow we bid a sad farewell to our esteemed colleague, James Dunne
James has been an integral part of the Ark Vets team since his return from the UK in 2004
James came a business partner in 2009 and remained as a Clinical Director after Ark Vets became part of IVCE group in 2019
James has primarily been involved in treating Orthopaedic cases and has built up a renowned referral service treating patients from all over Ireland
James feels the time is right to undertake further specialised training in surgery for the next few years and he hopes to be back in Galway in the future
In his own words, ‘I am very sorry to be moving on from Ark Vets, but have been overwhelmed by the support of our wonderful clients and referring vets, it is very humbling - thank you all so much: vets for sending pets in difficulty and those pets owners for being so patient and trusting. I look forward to returning to Galway in the not-too-distant future and have every faith in the Ark Vets team taking over my roles, they will continue to look after our clients and their pets with great diligence and care. The team here is fantastic and I will never forget a lot of the successes have happened because of the outstanding support of the people around me, It has been an absolute pleasure to work with you all and an absolute privilege to treat the pets brought to Ark, I wish you all continued success and the very, very best

An exciting day for the whole team in Ark today as we finally moved into our new extension today!
We carried out our first surgical case load with great success!
We take delivery of our new CT scanner next week, the first CT scanner for the west of Ireland!
This will allow us to offer unparalleled diagnostic imaging for our patients which we are very proud of
We are always striving to have the best Veterinary service available to our patients and clients
With our new extension along with increased consultation rooms in our existing practice we are all very proud of what we have achieved!
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we have gone through our renovation work 😻🐾🐶❤️
